I found the crossover awesome. It was way better than last year's crossover, where we had the crossover story be about the boring hawks love story, and whiny felicity drama. Last year's crossover was disappointing.

Hope next year's crossover is not about aliens, and is a villain centric crossover, someone similar to vandal savage, or maybe a group of villains like legion of doom. It needs to be someone stronger, since supergirl is also now on board.

... That's why I'm still following Flash, because of his character n how they have developed him. I fear Flash in Justice League will not be as pleasing as in the TV show. But aliens, really? Is there any room for aliens
It's like when someone has used all his bad guys n finds no explanation or logic to create another one, bring in the Aliens, they don't need any back story. Simple chappa

I really liked the crossover,it was well done esp setting up DCTV trinity of Arrow,Flash and Supergirl.Arrow's episode was quite good,and they ended well in LoT episode with Oliver and Barry's bar scene.

Now well into its third season on The CW, superhero drama The Flash has changed a lot since its premiere almost two years ago. The show has grown from simply being a spinoff of sister series Arrow into a complex show that explores time travel, alternate realities, and even parallel universes. And thanks to these reoccurring plot devices, the cast of The Flash has managed to remain relatively the same over time, with the actors instead getting to play many different versions of their characters.
Tom Cavanagh, for instance, is one cast member of The Flash who has remained gainfully employed by playing Dr. Harrison Wells across many different incarnations. In season 1, Wells actually turned out to be villain Professor Eobard Thawne, aka the Reverse-Flash, from the future. Then in seasons 2 and 3, Cavanagh has portrayed Earth-2’s Harry and Earth-19’s H.R., both from parallel universes.
But another actor who is also making good on The Flash‘s unique premise is 1990’s The Flash star John Wesley Shipp. On this series, Shipp plays Barry’s father Henry Allen, who was killed last season by Hunter Zolomon, aka Zoom. Fans probably thought that was the end of Shipp’s run on the show, until it was later revealed that his character also exists on Earth-3 as Jay Garrick, another identity of The Flash. Jay was last seen returning to his world, but new reports say that he’ll soon be back.

In an interview with CBR, Shipp admits that we’ll see a lot more of his new character in the second half of season 3, when we’ll also finally learn more about the mistakes Jay told Barry he made when he first became a speedster. Shipp teases that storyline hasn’t been forgotten:

“Well, those hints keep being dropped. I mean, it’s very interesting to me, and I’m going to figure in more prominently in the second half of the season than the first. You just asked one of my questions, because nothing is wasted, I think we’ve seen in this show. So anytime something like that is dropped — and there’s more of it tomorrow night! — there are more… As I said, I’m most involved in this episode than any episode I’ve done on this show so far. So we get to see Jay dealing with this young speedster, we get to see his reaction to Savitar, and there really are some curious things that Jay says that make me, John, wonder, ‘Okay, what’s coming?’”

In the interview, being posted in full tomorrow, Shipp also ponders the rise in popularity of comic book movies and TV shows and what it means for those actors who made it big playing those same characters decades ago. While he is currently a guest star on The Flash after playing the role in the 90s, Helen Slater (1984’s Supergirl), Dean Cain (1990’s Superman) and Lynda Carter (1970’s Wonder Woman) have all appeared on Supergirl.
Clearly, it’s not just the newest crop of actors who are getting to play multiple characters in comic book-inspired works, but it’s also a luxury for the ones who came before. Still, Shipp is taking his participation all in stride, saying: “One thing I love about the comic universe is the legacy and the lineage and — to be part of that group as an actor who played Barry 25 years ago, and now as Golden Age Flash, and seeing it from a whole different perspective — is quite unique.” It’s a big world for superheroes right now, so it’s fair to honor those who came before while exploring many new directions.

trickster was briefly there haha nice stuff.

i dont get it savitar is powered by a stone and once that power of the stone is trapped he vanishes, hmm weird

what intrigued me here was the prophecy by savitar, one shall betray, one shall fall and one shall have a fate worse than death Hmmm

i think one who shall fall was pretty clear there its gotta be iris. so who shall betray and who will have a fate worse than death hmmm

also alchemys identity is out there and hes now a good guy joining maybe tean flash ?

But strange ... Savatar is so powerful n fast n yet so weak, may be his speed is not part from speed force, may be gets his powers from philosopher stone that's why we saw him holding the stone and absorbing it's energy which transformed him into savatar.
Now that we r over with that stupid cross over which has no affect on this continuum of Flash and I feel I didn't miss anything by not watching it completely, let's hope next time they do a crossover it spills over to their respective series n has some effect on them, it will not only improve their viewership but also better story n character development

Supergirl is done for the month. That's why the crossover didn't have a large portion in that episode, because they wanted to tie up the season.

Thats Barry he will loose everyone in his life as Super Hero doesnt get the Girl that logic applies here he lost his parents so is gonna be iris next

for now in past 2 season they have always faced the Final Faceoff with the person they have spent time together

you are right but the main purpose is TRP they wanna Drag ppl to watch other season so they might get hookup into that show which they are skipping or sticking up with one or two

Watched the new episode, it was good, but nothing mind-blowing, felt like a regular episode, which was disappointing.

Savitar handed Jay Garrick's ass, Julian seems to be on the good side now.

I think Caitlin will betray, cuz killer Frost. I don't think Iris West will die, because like Clark-Lois, Barry and Iris are the main couple. But hey we thought they will never kill Laurel, but look what guggie did at season 4 of arrow.

I don't think they would want to piss off comic fans.

Ending was meh, boring romance ending. Flash needs to pick up steam FAST, because it's other dc shows are doing way better than flash atm.
