Softwares like CPU-ID Truth...!!

As i Am Enjoying My Newly Built rig Nowdays.....so Just saw A topic on Pg That Xigmatek 600w PSU is delievering 8.25V....on +12v ..I was Like WTF.....!!
so i Check Just give Mine a Check and it Shows 11.65v....Still Why 11.65 As I Got Overrated PSU And paid Much Money For It...!
so i came Up checking My way ...MM Ftw....!!
here Are results.....you people Decide urself

Thats What CPU-ID shows.....!!!

Thats What My BIOS Shows...

And Finally thats what my DMM Shows On 200V range selected...

A difference Of 0.45-55V Is Much For it....!!!
so Don't Depend On These Cheap Freeware's........Its just a test to Show people How These Software's Are Not accurate .....!!
Even Sometime BIOS shows wrong readings of Temp And Volt As Sensor Goes Bad.....That Mostly Occur On temp ...!!
So Don't Be scared If Your CPU-ID Shows Lame readings..Instead Of it Match readings with BIOS and if You doubt.....Check using DMM Yourself...!

Check in Your Bios Inside hardware Monitor For Voltages...!!
Softwares are Not Accurate...!!
B/w....I Take a Reading Again And Now its Showing Voltages And reading Of All...still +12v Rail Is 11.65

According to BIOS, it is 11.932volts on the 12v rail.....is it fine?I have a chines PSU, is it safe to run a nice GPU on it?

Well if U Check In Bios Its 11.932 On Idle ....On Load with Your GPU sucking Power......It Will Go Down To 11.2-11 My Rough Guesses........Only way to Check On Load while Gaming Is Using DMM....!!
Save and Replace Chinese PSU with Some Good One ASAP As Undervolting Is Not Good For Your PC Hardware

thanks for the much needed clarification sp20v. We should just also know this by looking at reviews of power supplies. None of the reviewers rely on these softwares when it comes to voltages.....all of them check through a multimeter.

Bhai i won't Suggest you getting New GPU On Chinese Crap PSU....!!
get Something Better and make yourself and Hardware Comfortable....!!
As I says...PSU Is The Main Component Powering Every Bit Of Your Hardware So Everything Relies on It....!!
So Before Buying exp Hardware....1st Get A Good PSU Then Hardware...!!
Alienware Got Nice PSU And i am Also Using xigmatek 500w.....!! You Can contact him and get At least 400W PSU For Your C2D Rig...!!

me got 12.13 on +12v checked by everest ultimate editon, psu is corsair 950

one thing either the gpu or system is idle or on load THE VOLTS NEVER INCREASE OR DECREASE
its the watts or sada zaban me current ya power that increases or decreases so if a psu is under volting or over volting
possible only one reason
the psu is faulty
all NICE psus come with under or over voltage protection
as in pakistan it is a tradition to get under voltage so probably the under voltage module of the psu is likely to get damaged
as far as the software is concerned they only take readings from the shadowed bios provided by ur mainboard
so dont curse them they are only there to give a an approximate idea they donot create anything of there own they are simply emulating the sensors of ur mb
