never been so full of life...i was expecting Ryse to barely make it to Knack's level but it turned out to be far better. a broken game with great graphics is still much better than a broken game with no graphics. also i wasn't the one who pre-ordered it full price and made plans to purchase a console solely to play it :lol:

It's true that the launch lineup of both platforms has failed miserably, in numbers. People who will still buy the game, will enjoy. Each his own I guess.

after reading the reviews and while waiting for my own copy of the game, i was disappointed, but its a pretty decent effort.
they keep complaining the gameplay is shallow, i really dont think so. its a good hack n slash game, not unlike gow.

the scene with Anna...metro LL is similar as in it is a visually impressive game and a pretty decent game overall. THAT specific scene was unnecessary(even though interesting ) imo but devs went with it anyway.

That was more like a PG13 version, kind of. Unnecessary? Definitely ... okay maybe not completely Since it was an obvious attempt to "bond" the concerned characters (Artyom & Anna) on a very "personal" level.

But it was an outstanding game in its own and it would've been great otherwise. RYSE can also do that easily. My whole point is towards the "nudity" between games. Sex sells, a harsh truth. Which might be another reason for them companies to move deeper & deeper in this direction. And considering games are making more and more use of it, its becoming a bit disgusting ... and is slowly learning towards "mature-people's game" side (if you know what i mean).

I really REALLY hope game devs don't find themselves in a competition where they'd start pushing nudity to a level beyond disgust.

that was PG 13? come on man there was actual NUDITY in LL whereas here its just objectionable. i m not saying i dislike such things like u. i actually like those games that are great games and contain a bit mature content. it portrays a more grown-up image of the industry i.e to stop our parents calling us kids for playing games

my point is that i don't mind such things in my games if its in a controlled and reasonable amount like in metro LL, GTA, gow or Heavy Rain etc. whats happening in Ryse is really not that big of a deal and well below red line.

and devs have already gone to beyond disgust levels of nudity in games. i would quote names here but considering kids visit PG, i wont
