RWP/ISB Meetup on June 05, 2011

Firstly I'd like to thank everyone of you who showed up at the meet-up. Your presence was greatly appreciated. We had a total count of about 40 people. It was great meeting the newcomers and we hope that you come to the future meet-ups as well.
Unfortunately this was the first time CerebralTiger and I arranged a meet-up so things were a little messed up but expect many improvements in the future.
I specifically want to thank omyakh who made it to the meet-up all the way from Lahore. Kudos to the guy, really shows his dedication.

Then there's the people from the unconfirmed list who actually showed up even during their exams. Speedyz, Skywalker, Ryanismo and Wajie you guys rock.

And then there's the disappointment in the people who didn't show up after creating so much hype and making false promises. Yes Conscript I'm looking at you.

Anyways, we tried our level best to arrange the gathering the best we could and we took notice of our shortcomings and will try our best to improve things in the meet-ups to come.

Sadly we couldn't arrange a proper gathering for dinner and I deeply regret it because I wasn't able to properly meet-up most of the people since I was outside the whole time.
Above all, there's the people who brought their equipments for the meet-up. I can't thank you all enough. The meet-up wouldn't have been possible without you. And you guys get an extra achievement just for this.

Last but not the least, expect another grand meet-up this year. I can't tell you when we will organize another PG event but I assure you that it will be sooner than you think.

i dont knw abt others but i had a lot of fun playing Reach and as far as i remember,top players were either me or coolerthannos so plz dont post lies we both were the only ones with most score,K/D spread and multiple sprees of different kind.if there was one match that was going truly epic,it had to be the last one.it was FFA on The Cage and i was leading with 28 kills while the second one was coolerthannos with 18kills.others were not in mentionable range sadly we had to leave the match unfinished coz our time was up

i m also very disappointed in conscript....i was worried what will happen to the halo scene without him but thank God for the unexpected halo gang.also surprising amount of people took interest too.i think i shared screen with omyak for a few matches,he is surprising gud.sadly same cannot be said for CT

come to think of it...i do remember that ONE match.i was like who is that guy in the other team,he haz skillz

thats the beauty of FFA...sooo much meat to eat i did a killing spree,killing frenzy,shotgun spree,open season,2 tripple killz and |God knws how many double kills in that match.some people were constantly jetpacking without looking down.took way too many kills that way.it was a blood bath lol.oh well atleast u played Reach,i thought u were cod4 only in the meetup.

Finally back home. I had a great time over the weekend, great meetup.

You guys were up against the wall, the g-zone was very limited in its options. Hooking up those xbox 360s turned out to be a royal pain. Journey's end was a huge help when it came to setting up the 360s. We finally managed to get it done.
Managed to get in a few games of Halo, held my own for someone that's barely played the game but nowhere near the 'masters' mentioned above. They were even obsessing over the kdr in objective based matches :lol: All in all good fun.

I was really looking forward to meeting some of the people on the list but most never showed. Notable absentees were theDarkDisciple, soulhunter and conscript. It was people like journeys end and HOTSHOT that kept things interesting, people who weren't even on my radar. There's always a surprise package at these things and this time around it was HOTSHOT. I don't know if I've said this before but that guy is FUNNY as hell! Made the meetup alot more enjoyable.
Never really got a chance to properly meet Devilscallmedad because of the sudden change of dinner plans.

Shout outs to the gang - fareedusmani, thegame, Muaaz, Cerebraltiger, Fuggyyy, Master Bates and Desolater. Thank you for a memorable meetup.
