I have success with SSH Client and a Shell CJB Account, Getting 430KB/s on my 4MB though IPT. Was also possible through Forced Encryption but this works better.

well i am downloading Sniper ghost warrior 2 from hugefile.com rar. files there with 350kbps speed on my 2mb ptcl. better than torrent dont need extra seeds to speed up :wink2:

Those who are facing problem on Torrents need to follow these steps.

1)Download & Install Hotspot Shield.
2)Open Utorrent
3) Go to preferences of U torrent.
4) On left Click on Bit torrent.
5) At the bottom of the page Tick or Mark Allow Incoming Legacy Connections, also on Outgoing Category Select Forced.

Now download the torrent which ever you like and you are all set.

Go to wiredpakistan website and check PTCLs thread, there is a nice guide there. Takes about 10 minutes to setup and after that its all just logging in and using proxy in torrent client, other browsers will work fine. Technically it allows torrents while you can use web as normal. What spotflux and other VPN clients do is to route all traffic through them so limiting overall bandwidth as well as suspicious data collection.

Yaar i have tried that methodnto but its not working. Givingnudp error. If u can see the error on wp. Its posted by few members. A screenshot of the error is also provided by scuzyy.

downloaded 40gb since last night with two vpns at the same time... didn't work without it, and as i haven't disconnected as of yet, i don't know if they do without vpns... do note that a single vpn did not make it work at all... privitize vpn worked evertime but it stopped connecting aftter just a day of usage and now i use hotspot to just connect to privitize...

i am getting 170 180 kbps speed on torrent on 2 Mbps connection what should be the actual speed on 2 mbps connection when this problem was not there i was getting 210 220 kbps i want to listen from 2 Mbps user what SPEED they are getting.

Pings completely fucked up on ptcl.
Pings which used to be under 150, are above 230 now. Plus really slow browsing during the daytime.

yes you are saying right and well there ping is not up to the quality check it on foriegn server speed is so slow other than ptcl server

The link that had been down was the Perth-Singapore one. We wouldn't have been affected by it unless they had to shut off all related links on the line to be repaired. This was done when the SingTel ship reached the severance point near Jakarta on 7th March, hence the throttling.

This still doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

The Perth-Singapore link was down. There is absolutely no need to shutdown the ENTIRE line to service that one specific segment. None whatsoever.

There are 39 landing points for this cable, and as such, the segments and corresponding landing points unaffected by the break would not be shutdown because there is no need to do this. They would contine to function independently of the segment under repair.

Guys try Deluge torrent client. Without proxies and vpn. See if that works or not

PTCL is just fucking around.

They are going to open the download taps again after 11PM and then close them sometime in the morning. That too, only Private tackers.

9 hours to go for F1 and I am fucking furious.

Private torrent sites givig full speed? Bcoz public trackers does not working. I have heard pvt torrent trackers are working just fine.
