damm u ptcl got 4mbps promotional upgrade till june 30 and they changed my previous package (internet local/national calls) of fixed amount 1750 without any confirmation, and now received a bill of 2530 rs with line rent and other charges.

I have a PTCL 4mb fiber optic connection. but my pings remain very unstable. they just keep bouncing. one moment they are at 250 on US servers and very next moment they are at 350 and then they lower down to 300 and this keeps on going i cant Aim in FPS games it really annoys me.I try to play in early morning or late at night but no use. my pings always remain unstable. sadly no other ISP is available in my region...

Change your ADSL mode from G.LITE to G.DMT. To do this go to: Advanced ---> WAN ---> ADSL. Tick G.DMT and untick every other mode. Reboot your modem. Let me know if that makes a difference. If it doesn't, try changing the mode to ADSL2+ instead of G.DMT.

My ptcl remains off for 4 days (really missed internet ) then i recvd a call that apke bill se 350 kam kardiye gae hain..
So next time aap log ka net kharab ho to ptcl exchange jaen , waha banda bill adjustment karta hai, usko bataden ke apki complain registered hai.. So aap log ka bhi bill cut hojaya kare ga .. .!!

well i tried that too. i said to the operator that my pings are very high and unstable his answer was " Kia dsl ki light on hai ya blink" then i said with more aggression that my pings are too high and unstable and he said that its not our fault its the server's thak phone band.... i was like dafk!...

Don't waste your time on talking with 1218 morons. They simply have no knowledge other than two things or more. Better talk with [MENTION=24169]ptcl[/MENTION]cares on twitter. This guy is amazing. I have not made a single call to 1218 after talking with this guy on twitter. Bass zara loog tammez se baat karien to kaam hojata hai.

Check your bill and look for DSL charges under Telephone on the front page of the bill.

Call them again from your ptcl no and ask them to transfer your call to seniour tech support that is L2 and l2 guy will surely help you on said issue
