Hey guys,
So after fiddling around with an iPhone 6 for a couple of months. I decided to change the the phone. It served me well, but it was time to change it to something different. I did not want to splurge cash on the Galaxy S6 or the LG G4. OnePlus 2 was an option, but then this bad boy came along. I was extremely impressed. Plus DAT AMOLED display (y)

Its build quality is great, on par with the iPhone 6. Plus it looks extremely sexy. I can't believe OnePlus is selling this for $250. But since no one loves EU. I had to pay 260 euros for this, plus 20 euros for shipping to Dublin.

Congrats. I've got Onyx too, it sucks badly infront of it's ancestor "One" ... It has bad battery backup as well as bad display. Yes, AMOLED has very unreal colors in general. Once I get my oneplus one I'll post a comparison thread. One is the real beast tho.

OnePlus One has a beast battery. The OnePlus X barely gets by the day. I'm getting like 4 hours of SOT. But in its defence the display is magnificent.

The worst thing about the OnePlus X is bow slippery it is. I moved from an iPhone 6 which is very slippery but this trumps even that. And slapping a case on it is like insulting its beautiful design.

OnePlus One with custom kernel and MM got 8 hours SOT lmao. That's pretty unbelieveable ... X has OxygenOS rather than CyanogenOS which is a drawback for a guy like me. I've heard X has pretty strong glass tho.

P.S. Do you still have the Ufone U5? I've made factory images on 4.4 for it and thus need a tester :p

i guess the battery time will improve after a week

Yeah, its pretty laughable but with bluspark kernel and some fiddling on the kernel adiutor, it seems people are getting 6 hours of SOT. I guess once stable CM13 hits the battery life will improve even further. For now, I'm on stock. X is made of glass but its pretty strong. I've dropped it quite a few times and it still looks as good as new.

Its been a month now I guess. But the battery life is no more 4 hours of SOT, but the poor battery is also related to the fact that I've turned on GPU rendering in Developer options. It hits the battery life as well.

Thanks mate, and you should definitely get one. Its pretty friggin cheap right now in Dubai.

    I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

    Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.
