I don't think a member should even vote if they haven't played all 3 major games that are contending for the title of GOTY.

Actually many members didn't vote because of this very reason (and some others), including ME.

A nice effort but utterly biased IMO.

Do I really have to explain? Bioshock beating out GTA V and TLOU? Biggest surprise being AC4 just because AC3 was bad? Best trailer to MGS V? Best co-op to Lego? I MEAN ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?

You guys are really in for another surprise (read: Abuses will lead to ban-slap) in coming weeks. Ooh imma enjoy that one :hah:

And i am mentioning this again incase someone intentional (or unintentionally) skipped it. Its as subjective as it can get. Which means each vote represents their own personal liking. If it were me, i'd given every game i loved a GOTY award and be done with it.

well i don't have to defend TeamPG's decision here but rest assured that most of us did play(and ended) all three contenders. just becoz there are fewer fanboys of TLOU in the team does not mean the voting was rigged!

People need to chill their tits and stop caring about awards so much. I only have one problem with this list and it's the FPS of The Year Award. Why Bioshock: Infinite? I mean from what I've heard from reviews, the game wasn't really all that good in the gameplay department. Why not give the award to Metro: Last Light or something? FPS of the Year Award should be given to games with good shooter mechanics, not games that were good and happened to be first person shooters.

Also, I agree with Raptorian. Did everyone that voted for their games, played all the other games? I mean what good is a vote for say, The Last of Us if the voter didn't play any other game?

ok this is a bit off-topic,was searching for a while,played Bioshock 1,2..meh Couldn't understand them after hours of day 1 play,and then boom uninstalled them,they proved quite boring to me...the thing is I still couldn't get the theme even after reading the article from wiki,What this series is all about?magical realism? any general explanation?

No i said that becoz the only people who are having a fit of rage over these awards are TLOU fanboys.
Just becoz TLOU did not win GOTY, its all bs and unfair. Whats more funnier is the reasons they are assuming i.e TLOU did not win becoz most voters didn't play it lol So all those professional reviewers who choose something other than this had never played it? Wth kind of logic is this?

You said this, hence the opposite of this is also true. And from what the team is built off, half of the team hasn't even touched TLoU because they don't own the platform to play it.

I'm not the one saying these are the top three. These three are just the ones that are the most prominent in all the nominations. Hence, they're the ones considered to be the big three. But even still, that's not enough to consider these three to be the top three. 'Cause these are all subjective opinions for a subjective award. The most we can do is be fair about it and play the games that are most prominent in the nominations.

Like I said, try not to take things so friggin' literally.
