no it wont. it will just show who is online on that server and clicking the button there will take you to the discord website.

Exactly what i was fearing about and that is something i wouldn't want to happen as it will be "discorded" from the forum
i would like to see something smooth and as integrated as Shoutbox right now and uses the Database of PG where you don't have to login at two places or type name whatever...
this is why shoutbox is perfect as we see things on go and drop one liners

i did a quick search and found that there's no "premium" version available for the widget, furthermore you are right the widget only shows total users online, unfortunately we can't embed whole chatroom, the only option which i can think of at is integrate it in the shoutbox via a button, which opens the pg room in a popup. Further, we can also make the room url a bit more easy..something like: Chat.pakgamers.com

my point is we are trying to make the site seamless intergrating front page and forum as well but why do need to move to the external website
to use the shoutbox and why can't we stick with the one we have ?

Alright guys.

So PG shoutbox is part of soul of PG..and until we can get a solution which integrates realtime chat directly on forum page, we are going nowhere.

We will keep the discord server (as its powerful and useful) for listening/sharing music, making game lobbies, etc...but not for our chat ..instead I will ask inferno to make the chat
slightly larger (10-15%) on the forum if it is possible + add more functionality to it..

That's what I said before, or we can a more visible small banner / graphic for discord server.

Why not try to integrate some plug-in into PG Home Page? If nothings works, we can always make our own service.

I suggest we stick with Shoutbox. No need to let our data to be leaked into hands of US servers.
