PTCL users : which region do you guys play in? and do mention the ping

I was getting 150 in europe east and west 3 weeks back when i first got ptcl 2mb but now 270 in the same region :crying: having slight delays esp when i'm playing with heroes like LINA

EU mostly, 150-180 on ptcl (good days), 280 on bad days (like right now)

on CIR connection get 133-145ms consistently, trying to switch routing to SEA but won't just yet because some eastern routes are under maintenance atm.

Mostly positive ofcourse lol but i urge all non dota players to read eurogamer review to get a glimpse of what an amazing effort Valve has put in despite the fact that dota by its very name could have sold millions. But valve made everything so organic that practically community is making the game

Earth Shaker's texture and effects updated. Moreover, GG call in private lobbies and tournaments will end the game in 15secs. Apparently a pop up does come to confirm it.

UI
- Added automatic detection of GG calls in tournament and practice lobby matches, which then ends the game 10 seconds later.

- Guild invitations now display who's inviting you, and how many members the guild has.
- Added a tournament drop for early roshan kills (before creeps spawn).
- Quick Cast now works on the portrait of your currently selected unit.
- Players can customize which messages appear on the Chat Wheel.
- Messages sent via the Chat Wheel appear with an arrow icon next to them.
- Calendar page now shows a list of tournament games per day.

VISUALS
- New Earthshaker model.
- Updates to some Earthshaker effects.
- Abilities that are configured to ignore Backswing will now continue their animation visually if they have no other orders or actions to take.
- Fixed Eclipse not always playing the missed Lucent Beam visual effects.

MATCHMAKING
- People who decline Matchmaking are temporarily restricted from searching for 45 seconds.
- Parties are more likely to be matched against other similarly sized parties.
- When matching parties, the matchmaker now also considers the minimum experience level on both teams rather than just the average.
- Reduced the average skill variance in games where there are 10 individual players.
- Fixed a bug in the matchmaker that was causing it to insufficiently segregate players based on win count.
- Fixed a bug that would cause excessive queue times, especially for large parties or high skill players.

AUDIO
- Non-default announcers will now comment on pick/ban phases.
- Windows Mixer control for Dota2 no longer resets to full volume on start up.
- Music volume floor goes to 0.
- Updated Abaddon VO.

Dunno, dusa can take care of a pl all the way to a high tier game. In very high games however, the real PL never shows himself, that is when it gets interesting. Golden here plays PL at a level where most can counter him with ease using a pubstomper like BS with ease. At the end of the day, it comes down to both your support and your skill and style of play. PL takes time coming online. Something that a LS or gyro can abuse to oblivion and dusa can outcarry a PL in a proper teamfight. What remains to be seen is whether the PL will ever pick a fight head-on with a farmed dusa

Yo can anyone advise me as to which specs on a laptop can run dota2 on 60fps or MORE, never less, full details, 1080p or 900p (don't care). The only reason i'm getting a new laptop and selling this current one is cuz it gives me 45 fps @ 1080p. I need laptop to watch international 3 and i need perfecto gfx. Can't be bothered sitting all day at desktop etc.
Can a 460m run it perfectly on a second gen i7? Or can a Dual core i7 640m on crossfired 5870m give me the better result? I'm getting mixed reviews everywhere, apparently processor is very important in dota (something i didn't expect before)

No brother, not at all. actually if you look at the match,it dragged on unnecessarily, but i was afraid that if i sold S&Y for any other item the reduction in stats would be fatal. so during the entire game was thinking should i go for abyssal or rapier. so thats why i asked.

Medusa requires even more time than PL to become effective she is also easier to gank early due to no escape mechanism also jungling with medusa is not as easy and effective as with PL. You are right about my level and I am always been afraid of BS when playing PL. I actually picked BS a couple of times to counter PL but the problem in pubs is that no one ganks consistently. BS will kill PL a couple of times and then he will go after easier kills considering job done. If the game gets dragged on (which it usually does in pubs)and PL complete completes his farm then its gg. What I am really afraid of is a bara with dust. though I haven't encountered any bara who uses dust consistenly so a couple of deaths doesn't really bother PL. he will usually change lanes or go junlge. PL cannot take down a 6 slotted medusa I have tried and failed. I can't think of a single carry who can 1v1 a fully farmed medusa. you need 2 farmed carries 2 kill late game medusa. Doom and a dpser. Did that once with doom and meepo. A good team can counter any carry. Just got beaten down by a shaman with an ursa when i was playing PL. both of them just kept pushing one lane and in an effort to stop them we let naix free farm.

hey guys i just went 41-0 with shadowfiend with 400 cs in 29 minutes and had 1300 gpm but i was wondering if i shouldve gotten 5 rapiers so i couldve ended the game in 27 minutes

Yes S&Y is a pretty meh late game item ( and the movement bonus does not stack with manta anyways ). You could have probably replaced it with BKB/Abyssal/Hex.

Which of these can run dota2 @ 60fps+ on FULL SETTINGS ? These are the current laptop offers that i got. I only want to play dota 2, infact not even play just need to watch international 3 -_- Can't be bothered with loadshedding during the tournment !

Also @Ali Mehdi i'd drop the manta and the lifesteal , and i would get a BkB. I have played Ck a bit, and i would rather have myself hitting ppl during Tide's ultimate. The chioce is always between EITHER a heart OR a Satanic, both of them on the same hero is always an overkill. Abysal would have been better in this particular situation cuz of the BkBs on the oposing team. However since the Bash never carries over to your illusions, its just a so so item. Maybe Daedulus, but that's again direct damage that won't carry on to illusions. I always keep sny on my Chaos though.
