Study FSC books, both part 1 and 2, thoroughly. Focus most on Maths, it has the biggest weight age, then physics, then chemistry (for engineering test). Don't go into the whole "Nust test comes from SAT books" because I can assure you it does not.

No, it won't be then. Check the website. They are in July. Start of July. There are others like you. Don't worry.

Don't worry, it will be in july, probably 13-18 july. And well if you work hard, you can surely cover the course.
Just remember to focus most on Maths, then Physics, then Chemistry.
As far as I remember, this is how the engineering entry test layout is of NET:
200 total questions.
80 Mathematics questions, mostly Calculus based.
60 Physics questions.
30 Chemistry questions.
20 English questions.
Last 10 are general knowledge questions.

Good luck (y)

This. I'm preparing for aptitude test in Anees Hussian (bad choice, don't join), they have told us the same thing. NUST's test is mainly composed of FSc, HSc, and ECAT outline. Whenever there are differences between FSc and HSc, my teachers point them out and there are more than a handful, so I suggest you study them both. Also don't forget to get a ECAT book to get a gist of questions you will face in the entrance test.

If you're preparing for an engineering course, then focus on mathematics, physics, chemistry, and finally Intelligence (IQ+GK). If computer science, then devour mathematics because there is no physics or chemistry. (You'll be essentially giving BA Mathematics test for CS.)

Check here: http://www.ugadmissions.nust.edu.pk/ The dates might change, but if they do, they will only be extended. Engineering and CS tests are on 13th July in Karachi.

both part 1 and part 2 books ? i see you are in NUST H12 Campus doing Electrical engineering ... can u tell me more about test ? is it generally easy ?
I found it to be pretty easy compared to GIKI and LUMS's test...or maybe it's because I was better prepared, IDK. Either way, if you've revised FSc books reasonably well you shouldn't have a problem.

Wait, the Computer Science NET test for NUST comprises of just Math? NO PHYSICS? Of course English and general knowledge will be there.

Basically, you have two choices when it comes to Computer Science: either you can give the test with physics or without it. Check out this page: Admission on the Basis of NUST Entrance Test (NET) Under the Computer Science section, read the note. If you opt-out for maths-only test, maths will have a higher weight-age. If you are good with maths, I see no reason to take physics. I hate it.

^That's when you're applying for BS Mathematics. If you want to join BS(CS), then you HAVE to give the Physics one.

Oh my. You are right. So sorry for the misinformation. :X
This is what I had been told at Anees Hussian. I thought it logical because many universities don't require physics for CS, like FAST, SZABIST, IBA, GIKI, etc. I guess they and I were wrong.
