Intel settles AMD claims but isn't off the hook:

Intel Corp. will pay $1.25 billion to make peace with Advanced Micro Devices Inc., as the companies whose microprocessors run nearly all personal computers finally found common ground in a bitter and colorful dispute that caused international antitrust trouble for Intel.
The settlement announced Thursday sent AMD stock soaring and ended a 4-year-old lawsuit in which AMD accused Intel of abusing its dominance of the chip market to keep a lid on AMD's share. Intel has about 80 percent of the microprocessor market, and AMD has about 20 percent.

Now this is looking very nice for AMD, they can use this $$ in researching better processor/GPU after giving the lawyer there Fees.

For Intel, STOP using Anti-Business ethics while selling your processor :chair:(n)

@gesherbrum

Local retailers dont lower rates as they lower in the market. The Core i5 is properly priced here. Else Intel sells to the retailers at quite a decent rate

AMD retailers/distributors however take an extra arm n limb as premium for what they sell in Pakistan

Bro just to mention intel has its official presence here in pakistan n takes care of all matters like supply of products at official rates etc. Whereas in case of amd, dealers have to import theirsalves

    did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!

    Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!

    if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.
