MULTI Mass Effect 3 confusing ending

Just ended Mass Effect 3. I went to the option of destroying Reapers. Now, Shepard is gone as I could understand and Cerberus: The Illusive Man is also gone.
But something is confusing me in the last cut scene of the game Child: The Catalyst says to Shepard "your children will create synthetics again and there will be chaos again. The peace won't last long"

Is this indicate of a next sequel of Mass Effect?
Any news or rumor?

When there was no ME3, somewhere on net I read that this game is based on 3 sequels. That's the point I am stuck at

Shepard's story is finished after the 3 installments, that's what they always said. This is the end of Shepard's storyline.

They will naturally make more Mass Effects with new characters in the future.

No doubt the game-play was also so good. But don't you think that the character of Shepard added charms to the game. No Shepard:crying: won't make the game bore?

The next trilogy could have just an awesome of a character, who knows. Despite what "fans" say, Bioware still does good writing in their games.

Another Mass Effect title is under works by Bioware atleast that's confirmed. But first we will have to take note from the upcoming DLC's. A major plot still remain unanswered:

4000+ EMS = Shepard alive seen, DLC or not? that's the question, they still had it in the Extended Cut which suggests its a main plot of the game. Leviathans are still alive (Creators of the catalyst and Reapers), if they can make reapers maybe some other species could harness their tech and make such a rouge synthetic race of their own as the catalyst said "your children will create synthetics again and there will be chaos again". This is only speculation from my end so don't take it too seriously.

Additionally, Retake Omega is also planned for Fall release.

Mass Effect has always been Casey Hudson's baby. He's the one who originally pitched it to the Doctors and has been with the franchise since the beginning.

The day he leaves Bioware you can assume ME as we know it, is lost.

That's great. Though with the studio heads gone, I hope he keeps EA's input/influence in future ME games to absolute minimal or preferably zero!!! EA has this habbit of ruinin' franchises. =\

Like Leviathan, all upcoming DLC's would be Pre-ending. Also, i would like to add that the relays have been badly damaged, not destroyed.

The issue of the relays has been remedied in the Extended cut ending, in two of the three endings now the relays are in-tact.

That's what i meant in my post, they are damaged but not completely destroyed hence they are repairable just like the Citadel.

Well, That's a great new(PGR) as I didn't play Extended Cut. Played the normal one. I should play extended cut again
