Lizard Hazard!! Urgent help!!

There's a lizard in my room , camping behind the wall clock, waiting to catch me off guard so that it can devour my body... That little bast*rd ain't gonna come out until 7 or 8hrs. And as squeamish I am when it comes to dealing with these ugly homeless creatures I need some advice on how to get rid of it
