I hope so bro I really do.That guy is very shrewd in his talk and will almost make you believe as if he is on your side.He managed to excavate 5200 rupees from my pocket,along with 2gb ram which is worth 7000 rupees.In short he got 13000 by stealing from me.My mother cursed him on his face and yet he was smiling,pretending to ignore her while talking on the phone.Thats how smug he is.I really wish there was a proper justice system here or I had someone in my family who could help me.People say we should speak out against injustice in pakistan if we want it to prosper.Iam not strong enough to counter such a person.If someone could help me in this issue,I would be eternally grateful.

Ok Ive contacted Jshak and Iam sure he can help me,seeing how he helped so many people out of their problems.Besides that, I have also decided to bring this case to consumer court and sue this guy.People say we must play our part as a good pakistani and speak up against injustice.Iam tired of seeing this happen everyday.I will bring this BS to an end once and for all.l I will try my best to ensure no one suffers what I did.

I looked at my first post and I realize that Iam stereotyping people.I apologize if anyone got hurt,I was just really hurt and tired by what was going on around here.Iam not strong enough to confront people and I don't have anyone in my immediate family who can.Iam just tired of living like this.


Another update:The laptop started showing the same problem once again and yesterday when we went to him he refused to fix it again.The laptop didn't even work for 2 days and he is blaming my sister for using it wrongly?My mother asked him to give the money back and he flatly refused.That smug had the courtesy to pretend to talk on his phone while my mother was asking him to either fix it or return the money.
you have 3 options

1. beat the shit out of him for money by rounding up a few thugs
2. use jshak
3. take his ass to consumer court

Dear friends,

I would like you all to be aware of the many fraudulent laptop repair shops which actually steal components from the laptops given for repair.Here is what happened with me when I gave my sister's laptop to evernew/newtech computers located near bilal stationers in clifton sasi arcade.

I was told by a friend that the owner of the shop,Iqbal Hussain Jewani,is an honest person and that he would charge what is fair for the laptop.I had a previous experience of purchasing a laptop sleeve for my netbook from his shop and he seemed like an honest person.So when my sister's laptop had a problem that it didnt start up,I gave them the laptop for repair,along with my hp netbook,which had a problem that it would white out at random points.They tell me the charges for the mini would be 11000 rupees and for the vaio would be 7000 rupees.I agreed and after one week I received the laptops.The moment I received my hp,it started having the same problem.I called em and they said to come back after 2 days.I came and gave them the laptop again.They called me after 2 days and said that its fixed so i went there to check.It had the same problem there,but Jewani kept on insisting that this happens with windows 7.I persuaded him enough that he returned my money back for the hp mini.However I noticed that the mini had gotten much heavier and now it didn't even start up.Well after 2 months,my sister's laptop started having another problem of getting no screen upon startup.I went to them as they were the ones that had fixed the laptop prior to this,and they said that they will check and tell me what the problem is and the cost of it.I got a call after a day,saying they had fixed the laptop and that the charged were 5200 rupees.I told em that this was an exhobarant amount and asked em why they didn't tell me that before fixing.They said that they had "forgotten" to inform me.I decided there was no point in arguing further as it was of no use.I went there and asked them what the problem was with the laptop,and Jiwani said that he didn't know,he just had his men clear the dust from the laptop.Once I brought the laptop home,it started having the very same problem the next day.I went to them again and told em about it.They asked me to let them keep the laptop again and it might be a bios issue.I went there at the day they asked to collect the laptop and they said that they needed another day to install antivirus and stuff and that there are some extra charges of 3000 rupees for the clean up. My mother called them and had an argument with Iqbal Jivani about the unseen charges as 5200 rupees were already paid for the repair.He agreed to not take the 3000 rupees and asked to pick the laptop the very next day.I went there to pick the laptop up and check it.I noticed it was very very slow so I went to the properties tab and it was written that it had 1 gb ram.I was very shocked at this as the laptop had 3gb ram.I told him that and he flatly denied that the laptop had 3gb ram.I showed him the online specs of my model but he remained stuckup on his argument that the laptop had 1 gb ram from the start.I asked him to open the back of the laptop for the ram slots and there were 2 slots for ram which were both with a 2gb and 1 gb ram,but the 2gb ram was missing.He lied straight to my face that the laptop had 1gb ram from the start and refused to listen to me.I got out of there out of disgust that this 5 time namazi person turned out to be such a deceitful thief and can lie so confidently.

I dnt have any written proof with me that the laptop had 3gb ram before so I cant take action against them.However,I would like you all to consider my experience as a warning next time you give something for repair.Please give your gadget to an official repair store,not some awaain looteray like this bastard Iqbal Jewani and his fraud computer shop.I respected the guy so much,but I have lost respect in my heart,not only for him,but for all Pakistanis and Muslims.This sort of fraud happens everywhere in Pakistan,but this is the first experience which truly upset me.I don't wish to bad mouth anyone but all I want is that my experience doesn't happen with anyone else.
yar sorry hear about what happened but don't lose the respect for all the pakistani muslims. aysa to harjaga hota hai. this doesn't mean that u blame the whole scociety for it. Black sheeps are evry where. like mr zardari who is the blackest sheep on earth ;)

Well I saw a thread of a pg member who had sued a hardware shop for selling a faulty ps3 and got full refund.I think that about sums it up.

I would never take up violence against someone,cause that would be stooping down to a very low level,especially not for a bug like iqbal jivani.I've contacted Jshak lets see how he can help.

Bro Iam very sorry for my first post.I was just tired of seeing all this deceit happening around in Pakistan.I know it happens in other countries but it is much much more evident and common here in PK.I am actually half african half pakistani and have lived for quite some time in other countries but living in pakistan has been the most torturous experience yet due to people committing fraud everywhere.I haven't lost hope in Pakistan yet and will surely play my part to bring about justice as much as i can.

Okay, here is my story of the visit to his shop on my way back. I had spoken to him on phone after getting his number and had the address on my mind running .

Reaching the shop, I OBSERVED THE way he was dealing. Chor ki aulad..... Seriously Shop keepers have lost it. They want to become millionaires overnight.

Well he came to me and started talking to me about my concern. I was telling him in a tone which i mostly use, the non serious one. Trying to catch him, to see how he reacts ...
I told him that you have dealt with a client/customer named shahbaz regarding his repair about some latptop. Firstly he tried to pretend that he does not know's anyone...With continuous reminding, he tried to accept that knows the kid and it was his sisters fault by mis using the product under negligence.

He has no warranty offering as he has got the laptop repaired from a third party and they do not offer warranty...

To my confusion, ASKED HIM, what sort of techinican does not know what he his doing and cannot re repair the item if fault arises. What is the use of being a techician if he cannot diagnose the problem.

I laughed and told him that he might have kept the laptop for 3 days and returned back to the customer/client by saying it is repaired ( although he never touched it )....

Seriously the guy, got offended and said. I cannot help u ... I said Soch loo... then.....


After having a few pressure words like

"SOOCH LOO BHAI, AP He bhehtari kay liye hai "... Another person in the shop got annoyed and tried threatning me that he does not know's us, blah blah. He shared the word that " Kia hum ko dhamki day raha hai, Chal nikal yehan sey.... "

One word from my side " yaar jo karna hai, may dukaan mei hoon. Ap ki property pay hoon, aap ka jo jee chahiye, case bana do. Magar us kay baad mujhay nahe kehna kay mei nay aap ko warning nahe di...Kuch bhi case bana doo, mei dekhna chahta hoon kay aaj koun hai Abuses will lead to bany ka bacha jo mujh pay case bana day.... Us banday ko meri taraf sey salute hai, jo case bana kar mujjhay ander karwai... "

I litterally was annoyed and was in the mood to clobber the guy if he would have moved an inch more further.... The owner stopped it and said kia masla hai. I explained him and said that I am going to use force if I have on your Ethical practices and ripping of clients.


The guy wanted to share some physical pushes, I was trying to be nice to him.... In the end I pushed him against the wall and Flashed my Official card where I work...

Withing 30 seconds of reading the card " The guy calmed down saying , Oh aap nay phelay keun nahe bataya kay aap kahan sey heain... "

Son of a butcher changed his statements. He apologized and said that bring the kid along with you and get the laptop repaird.


Even said in the end " HUM AP KAY TABAY DAR hai.... Galti maaf, kaam hojaie ga aap ka "

I never want to use force on anyone, It is not in my ethics, But ppl like these... They have to really taught a lesson at times, that members that observe silence are not innocent...

Well, I just did it cause your money is important... I do not need thanks for any reason. Glad that i could be useful to someone at difficult times..


Now @ Shahbazi, set up a time with me after Eid to see what is this guy all about.... I want to see how much courage he has on what he has said....

He is a aga khani like you Shahbazi. I thought same community ppl were helpful to each other.....



@ Rizwan Broken Man... Kabhi zindagi mei Consumer court ka rasta dekha hai ? Agar dekha hai to ja kay ek case register karwa dena merit pay.... Demag thekanay pay aajaie ga tumhara...


Give shahbazi some serious advice which you actually experienced.... Most of the members just give comments and in the end they are not aware how to approach the authorities...

Be sensible mate when someone seeks help...

Shahbaz i appreciate you posting ur experience about such fraudulent menaces in our society. But some where i feel its our fault too.The USER MANUAL of every device tells in inverted comma's that " Show this device to a qualified service personell only" and one thing more, from my experiences i believe that "APNAY HI ULTI CHURRI SE KAT'TAY HAIN".
