Okay, now after a 2 week (probably!) hiatus, I am back. I was actually side developing, brainstorming about this post and more, whilst I was away from this forum. Music Lists are hard to make, and ask me about this list 2 or 3 months from now, and I will have changed my mind about one or two.

Multi-talented artist Merill Garbus with her second album, experimenting different vocals and tunes that could make you groove upon.

The Answering Machine - Lifeline
I was very excited when I heard that they had a second album in production, I listened to it and loved it instantly. Sadly, this album will remain special for me, because right after this they split-up.

Wye Oak - Civilian
Named after the 460-year old tree in their hometown. If you're into indie rock and yes, you are you will listen to this album.
Recommended Track:
Civilian
7.
Ghostpoet - Peanut Butter Blues and Melancholy Jam
UK based artist, Ghostpoet in his debut LP talks about hard times, life and times. It isn't filthy or anything, infact I dislike those rap songs too. But, this is different and one could only understand by listening to it.
Recommended Track:
Survive It
6.
The Shivers - More
Retro and nostalgic at it's heart, expressing love too. There seems to be something amazing about Keith's vocals, his words that every time I pick this album up, it makes me feel good.

TV On The Radio - Nine Types Of Light
Beautiful, mesmerizing and captivating. It's just hard to express this album in a one-liner.
Recommended Track:

So indie, so very much. It's such a gorgeous album, it's beauty is being simplistic, joyful and nostalgic songs.

A new embark in the epic blend of lo-fi and dream pop.

Bon Iver - Bon Iver
It's puzzling, lyrically that you can't understand it yet appreciate what Justin made sense out of it.
Recommended Track:

Destroyer - Kaputt
Dan Bejar blurred the line separating a poet from an artist. For me, this is the best record of the year, this is his most fascinating one too. The beautiful use of saxophone and blues combine to form, a masterpiece.
