[SOLVED] Is 1GB ram enough for Android phone now?

it actually depends on the phone as well. 1 Gb ram on S3 was not sufficient at all the phone crashed/lagged like hell!
while 1 gb ram for Nexus 4 was more then enough.

I think the guy was just braggin...1gb is fine, 2gb is optimal, 3gb is overkill, I don't know of any mainstream app that uses that much ram, yet.

Nexus 4, still plays everything there is out there just fine. It was a good phone, using it since it was launched. If you can get a nexus 5, that will be cool. I don't plan to go back to non-nexus phones. Just saying, I find the experience of a nexus top-notch. But to each their own. I would say get a nexus 5 though.

I have used N4 and tried new N5. The only thing stops me from getting N5 is poor battery timing and camera somehow I can live with the build quality.

It must be said that if you are getting a Samsung phone then you better have 2 GB ram because of all the extra services of Touchwiz which eat up lots of ram.

Note 2 is a good option rather then g pro I have used both sets but I am rating note 2.its the best

Well I am just making my mind about what to do, get a mid range phone and save the rest of money or spend all on high end phone

I am thinking to get 5" or below, above 5" might be difficult for me to use specially with one hand. Ek to bare set k sath problem yeh ha k dar he laga rehta ha snatch na ho jae

Bro i recommend note 2 because of the battery life and Samsung qualitative experience . which is absent in G pro and camera contrast of note 2 is better then G pro.

As i said, Androids pure experience is to have a nexus and of course there is no such thing as a perfect phone, nexus' camera sux for example battery life is bearable at best, mediocre at worst...on the other hand I find Samsung s4 to have a really ugly ui and a very cheap finish , from a purely aesthetic way. I am very happy with the nexus 4. I want timely updates, i can't stand TouchWiz. S4 is a faster phone but that is really a small thing for me. The games i play on it run fine.

But I do believe that while preferences play a vital part in the phone you choose. There is no substitute of a timely update.

As far as engineering is concerned, no phone beats the iPhone and its camera. It's a class of its own. The htc one came close.

I agree with you, a friend of mine is going to sell his N5 soon both of us are happy with vanilla android but not with battery timings. And yeah it is the matter of personal preference, what work for me might not work for you.

... And responsive and fast, and free from bloatware... Not to mention the easiest to modd, root, and the first to get updates and support.

Besides I agree with you, it is quite plain. But that also saves system resources.

Well that's why I prefer it, but some don't and that's fine.

Look can be change with customization's so not much an issue. Stock is light on resources.

Mostly you will find korean versions of G2 in Market I Surfed The market Before Buying G Pro and there were Alot Of korean Versions Of g2 and g pro, Good Luck Finding international Version Of G2

I have not seen much korean phones in Lahore. I will visit the market again.
