There has to be.
Thats what I keep telling to those athiests. There has to be a purpose for everything.
Theres plenty of sick sh*t in this world thatd make even the most pious of us question the presence of a high supreme Authority that is just. For that theres the Green man argument.
Its fine if you dont believe in a higher power or life after death or whatever... just think for one moment; is that really all there is then?
I'll quote a personal example that just happened TODAY in front of me at work:
This guy whos worked at my company for 30 YEARS as (now) General Manager just got transferred to another smaller concern (read almost Fired) because of xyz reasons. They'd taken away his car, slashed his salary and perks all in the name of 'creative downsizing'... I know that man very well and tho he's done with most of his family obligations in life (kids marriage, house car etc) there was that look of despair and
nihilism (another term that we enjoy throwing around!) that I couldnt even begin to comprehend as Im a n00b compared to him professionally.
Then at lunch I was with a group of colleagues and one of them was saying oh how there's
nothing after professional life and blah blah... I wanted to punch that guy square in the kisser -.-
Point being: There HAS to be something at the end, albiet a pot of gold or a keg of whiskey or
laddoo ka tokra!!! There HAS to be! We just cant see that yet mainly because we are too 'young' to have sufficient prespective :/
