It's scary; the concept that one day I will be be of zero existence and it will be like I was never born.

So I will be trying to make the most of the time I've got here, and will try to live a more fulfilling life. Travel the world, enjoy the different cultures etc

It will not however have an effect on my moral values and ethics.

Same here, I already sorta believe that there may not be anything after death so I'm pretty sure that I am already living the way I would be If I became a proper atheist in the future.just because there's no one to judge me after death doesn't mean I'd go crazy and become a serial rapist.

If anything I'd feel like I should enjoy my life more and take a bit of a laid back approach to everything.Enjoy life and consciousness whil I still have it.

I can't bring myself to believe that in the end a serial murderer/rapist is the same as a morally correct/ honest person
Meaning the former deeds are fine as long as you are discreet enough and avoid being caught. Death is the great leveler and then it wouldn't really matter whether you harmed someone or not.
