Hey guys! So I was wondering about actually setting up a small pizzeria with my cousin. The pizzeria will be more of a 'take-away & delivery' type. Thus the space required will be less and the rent will be less. I know about the machines and equipment required to setup a pizzeria, but I am not aware of the amount of money they will cost me. I am also not aware of how much salary the employees demand. In other words, I don't know how much there is to invest in this business but I really want to start a high-quality pizzeria. I and my cousin can manage up to 20 lakh rupees or even more (actually we will borrow it from our parents).
I am interested in opening a pizzeria in North Nazimabad Block-A (near dilpasand). I love pizza and I know how to cook it. I plan on reading books and improving my pizza-making skills and learning about more varieties of pizza.
I need a bit guidance about the actual investment required, number of employees required and possible rent etc.
There is no one in my family who owns any kind of restaurant. So I have no one to ask help from in my family.
Is there someone of PG who has experience with starting a pizzeria or any small restaurant? can some one help me?

Pizza making machine is available for 3-4 lakhs or even less. The average salary for an employee is 15-20k but you can always bargain to make it lower. The problem is about the land, if you want to get a place in a decent area you will have to pay huge premium and rent would also be high(talking about a single shop here). If renting a piece land is not a problem for you then you're good to go. If you're the one who will be cooking the food then you only need a cashier but i suggest you take care of the money stuff yourself.

Good Luck!

North Nazimabad is too far bc.
I believe that North Nazimabad - Block A is a very good location because there is a good flow of people through that area (golden gate). So getting customers will be a bit easier. Plus I live in Nazimabad, so commuting to the pizzeria won't be a hassle for me. These are the two reasons that have made me interested in this location.

I dont know about the cost , but place u have choose is good , make sure to find out your competitors in the area and what new u can offer , i have seen every new guy these dayz is opening a pizza shop and delivering free coupons of deals etc , door to door sale promotion , but they all taste the same and are priced in the same bracket as well , thats why people who are real pizza lovers dont go for these local brands and seek out California , new york pizza etc etc , if u can offer some what close to these brands in a takeaway style with lower price than these big brands you will have success

The biggest competitor in the area is 'Pizza Hut'. That will be a problem for me but I am ready to take this risk. And yeah, as you said, I will set prices within a reasonable range.

Also you need to understand that you need to deliever on the food quality EVERY SINGLE TIME..So you have to factor in the ingredients, recipe, storage and business side of things..You need to keep these things reproducible and consistent.

IMO only 3 things truly make a pizza 1) The dough 2) Fresh ripe tomatoes 3) Quality and quantity of cheese...that's it. Keep it simple
good luck

did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!
