Who said i am restricted to gtx660 what a joke lol...oh man its never gets old besides There are several settings that one can change for much better performance(Shadows, MSAA etc) even on a gtx 660.Heck i played Shadow of mordor on High settings on my Laptop(with shitty 8750m which is nothing compared to Gtx 660).

lol..and what was the price tag when the game launched? if we are talking about the price after a few months, im sure you will be able to find gta 5 for like 2k. Launch price on PC is less than launch price on consoles. As for MKX, well i would blame NR for that..they tried to mimic consoles and experimented with something they had no idea about..there are so many PC games which have the option of stream play but NR probably didnt look to them for ideas..lazy ass devs is hardly the platform's fault

It is extremely cheap for digital copies because there are hundreds of third party sellers (and key resellers from cheap regions) and some offer even better deal than the glorious Steam (Nuvem, GOG, GreenmanGaming etc). When you have such a huge digital market, there is bound to be competition and this is one of the major reason PC digital games are cheap.

Now can you please show me a place in Pakistan where I can get GTA V on PC at retail for cheaper than standard price (6k) as you quoted here?

Lastly it is laughable that you call MKX on Steam an act of "lazy dev" yet you conveniently ignore the same "lazy devs" on console who often result in bad ports on PS4/XBO. Nice hypocrisy you got there.

So? it is rockstar price for there and logic say that u are paying $60 for better experience like 60fps and ultra settings of course if u have capable hardware.

First of all u can get a better gaming PC than PS4 at the price of $450 and of course it will run at 60fps and with PS4 clearly it cannot because of AMD CPUs bottleneck.

DX12 has far better drawcalls than any API right now which will be used in PC and Xbox One.


Fun Fact is the Bloodborne sold 1 million within 3 weeks which is disappointing because GTA V in PC sold more 1.2 Million in first hour of game release now u get it.

There are few reasons to that....

1 - Most of us have already enjoyed the story when we played it on the consoles
2 - Now we're enjoying the looks of the game which we couldnt enjoy on the console (according to R*, PC has the best looks - so this is the platform for best graphics)
3 - Some people enjoy PC gaming because they try to pull the best out of the game with the hardware they have. Most PC gamers don't have money to burn and therefore enjoy the fact that with limited computer specs, we can pull so much out of a well developed game.
4 - For me personally, I enjoy 3D gaming and PC is the only platform that offers the widest range in 3D games.

Is anyone playing this game on an i3 2100 or something similar along with a solid GPU like the 660 or 770 etc? I don't want to upgrade my CPU just yet for this and if I can get around 60 FPS on high/veryhigh, I won't upgrade my CPU. Other specs are top notch (970 + 10 GB RAM).

The difference being I don't have to wait for anything. I'm choosing to wait because of priorities.

I played GTA 5 on 360 way before it officially released (LT 3+ piract FTW).

If you can't enjoy something yourself diminish someone else's enjoyment of it. It's a great attitude have.

Especially when you contradict yourself on it. You clearly didn't think it was worth the wait when you played it on the 360.

You asking me if I am mad? Check out my original post which resulted in a lot of salty responses, even though my original post was not directed at anyone in particular

This resulted in a discussion where some guy started saying GTA V on PC is worth it blah blah... it is cheaper... blah blah... it is best at 4k and 60 fps... blah blah......

I am honestly out of this discussion. Enjoy it by all means on PC, if that is your preferred platform. I already own it on PS4 so there was no incentive for me to play it on PC. My original comment, which incited all the salty responses was simply talking about the nature of PC gaming in general, where seeking the "optimal performance" usually takes over the experience of actually playing the game.

If you check my specs, I already own a decent rig, and I have plans to upgrade the GPU even further later, but this doesn't mean I completely ignore consoles either. It was just silly for me to see people throwing out lame statements like console games are expensive etc yet you see that PC retail games are expensive. Digital games are cheaper and I have already explained why it is the case here, so no need to repeat myself.

tl;dr: Enjoy your gaming on PC, if that is your prefer. Just stop showing this "holier than thou" attitude. (No, this comment is not directed at you, just at the salty responses in this thread)
