Couldn't manage to play this for long on PS3. GTA is just getting a tired franchise for me. Will probably skip this on PC as well.

don't be angry man. this will hopefully a very good game in pc.even though Rockstar almost spoil the party of PC gamers by introducing the game in pc almost 1 year later but still GTA is GTA and no openworld game other than RDR can beat GTA

Bought a 2TB HDD

Should get 3 more GPUs and 20 GB more RAM and i'll be able to run this at 1280x720

The GIFs prove that PS4 renders grass, unlike its predecessor.

That is way more technically advanced then I expected.

(dito) GTA V didn't light the gaming world on fire with its visual tech but it was a looker nevertheless.

I'm interested in knowing how it runs on the new-gen consoles. They've already received a graphical upgrade and I'm betting it'll be 1080p, on the PS4 at least. But are we looking at 30fps?

1080p maybe, but not 60fps in open world games without sacrificing next gen visuals. Console devs aim to improve visuals overtime instead of frames per second. But I'm only talking for games like watch dogs and GTA. For small / closed world / linear games, I believe next gen consoles can easily pull 1080p60fps (talking bout ps4).

Yeah I realize it is silly to expect new-gen consoles to run an open-world game at 60 frames/s. I recall Sony initially boasting that Watch Dogs runs at 1080p/60fps on the PS4 but they retracted this claim pretty quickly.

And we all know neither was the case. But GTA V was highly optimized for PS3/X360 platforms so I've got my fingers crossed.
