Higher frame rates bring minimal improvement in input latency in games that have a lot of animation priooority, as RDR 2 has demonstrated. I'm playing in first-person mode (when not driving), where this is much less of an issue. 🤷‍♂️
Too bad for you then since GTAV input latency is terrible and 60fps won't help you either. Animation priooooority doesn't go away in FP mode 🤣

It sure does go away in FP mode. Movement is simply strafing, compared to the character turning before he can move in the intended direction in TP mode. It feels about as responsive as Cyberpunk 2077 🤜

Watched Alex's analysis & man, vanilla PC Ultra is oooooold tech.

But then, you have graphics mods on that platform!

For now, PS5 RT performance mode is the best version for this game, easily.

Very consistent results across the board with Series S having more drops than the other two as expected.

Washed out HDR, lack of OLED and Sony's poor HGiG support on X90H.

With the PS5's automatic HGiG adjustments on the Sony X900H or XH90, all our findings of clipped highlights, washed-out picture and elevated blacks are still valid, which is why we still advise manual adjustments
Yikes yikes yikes. Please gives tips to switch TV Vincent 🤣

DF also reiterates, excellent performance across the consoles on all modes. Performance RT is the recommended way to go.

Just like Alex said, Performance RT is the best way to enjoy GTA V now.

Imagine thinking manooooal adjustments can overcome these deficiencies, meanwhile Vincent always rates OLED TVs higher for HDR gaming, manoooal adjustments or not. ABL or no ABL. Poor X90H keeps losing :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Wonder what kinda manoooooal adjustments will make this a 95+ meta game CerebralTiger desires it to be. Yiikes! :ROFLMAO:

Guys, I have a question regarding peak brightness!

What happens if I exceed the peak brightness value of my display ?

E.g, If my display peak brightness is 1200 but I set the value in-game @ 2000!

Good or bad or nothing happens...

Manoooal hardclip settings for HDR on the PS5 result in accooorate tracking of the ST2084 PQ standard for looominance on the X90H tho 🤷‍♂️
Might want to take a look at Vincent's recommendations for HDR and gaming TVs. Both doooominated by OLEDs. Such looooominance, much impact 🤜🤣

"HDR gaming" entails other factors, such as Dolby Vision at 120Hz, HGIG support, which other manufacturers like Sony and Samsung don't support. Vincent has made it clear in the video I linked:

"I still admire the pixel level light control afforded by OLED's self-emissive characteristics allowing dark scenes to be expressed accurately without any haloing or blooming artifacts. But I also recognize the fulfilled brightness limitations of the technology, and have mentioned this on many occasions in my previous videos"
OLED being his favorite technology doesn't mean he turns a blind eye to its limitations, and the impact (or lack thereof) of bright highlights in HDR is one of them 🤷‍♂️

If you set the peak brightness value above what your display can achieve, you'll get a loss of detail/highlights in bright scenes.

As to where you should set the peak brightness value, it depends on your display. Vincent recommends setting it to 800 on LG OLEDs with HGIG enabled (as that's where they hardclip), and 1000 on Sony/Samsung TVs, since their always-on tone-mapping is optimized to handle this value. However, if you have a Sony/Samsung TV that can go above 1000 nits, set the in-game value to 1500.

did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!

I tried both NayaPay, and UBL, but I keep getting "correct country selected..." error. I already have PK set there 🤦‍♂️

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!
