Sammobile, which has almost everytime has been a reliable source posted this just right now....

and they r now being confirmed : http://www.sammobile.com/2013/03/06...n-variant-have-just-showed-up-new-ui-changes/

p.s. can admin decrease the size of snaps pleasE? thanks :)

Somebody with a Galaxy S IV has just performed an Antutu benchmark and revealed all the specifications of the device! It looks like the Galaxy S IV features an Exynos Octa 5410 CPU clocked at 1.8GHz, PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU, 2GB of RAM, 4.99″ Full HD (1920×1080) display and a 13 Megapixel Camera. The device also runs Android 4.2 out of the box. The Galaxy S IV retains the menu, back and home buttons, like its predecessors.
The most interesting thing is that the device supports GSM/WCDMA/LTE networks with an Exynos processor on-board. So that means there will be only a one single variant of the device, the GT-I9500. Previously, Samsung used to release two variants of their high-end devices, for example the GT-I9300 and GT-I9305. One variant used to have GSM connectivity and the other one had LTE connectivity but this is not the case with the Galaxy S IV. The Galaxy S IV will be a world phone.

Nice, the gpu benches are same, even though its a full hd screen vs a 720p one.
But 544mp is kinda old, i bet they used 4 cores or more.

Coming from Apple background, I must say that it's utterly foolish to think of Android as a slow / 'stuttering' OS. Buy a better android fone with latest specs and you'll enjoy the new world. My only concern was of messaging but even that got resolved with the use of 'swift key'.

As for the s4 specs, don't forget the 99 % faster browsing speeds than any other devices in the market; saw a leaked browsing mark score.

To be honest, I'll stick with the note 2 if samsung comes up with the same 'plasticy' build.

I used Galaxy Note II. Doesn't get any higher end than that. 3rd party apps like Viber and Facebook made it seem like I was using a 5 year old phone.

did you use 4.1.1 or 4.1.2?? 4.1.1 was quite laggy and the later is a lot better... they have increased the fluidity of the os and everything and all the built in apps... but ofcourse, some third party apps do lag a bit... that won't happen on ios as everything is tailor made for a device in that os...

i have used s3 quite a bit and i can assure you that is 10 times laggier than the note2... the 4.1.1 update was horrible... anyways, my note2 does not lag doing anything... i don't use many apps... just browser and games and media players... i don't use useless facebooks apps as i just use the browser to open a desktop version of the site because i hate the mobile versions...

Go to settings then advance settings n change both window & transition to 0.5.

In svoice settings > uncheck the launch svoice with double tap of home button.

Coz the phone waits to see if you press the home button twice to activate s-voice....these two settings really help to fix this issue.

And turn off power saving mode too, it also cause lags.

True dat! I have been having a few issues myself but let's not take them against OS's fluidity.
