I'm sure turning off motion blur and tweaking other settings should give 1080/60 comfortably in the final product.

ok I tried again after adding +200 on GPU master and memory on MSI and the results are .. notably better.

In Standard quality, which is most likely the console equivalent, I did not find the game to be visually impressive at all. Quite mediocre actually. No wonder that DF rarely ever brought up FFXV when doing other analysis of open-world games.

To be fair, even when switching to high the differences are minimal. The benchmark seems to have very high post process and/or blurring applied to it, everything looks like it's smeared in a vaseline filter. It'll be interesting to play with the final game settings. If I ever get this on PC,I can see myself turning off motion blur, toning down shadows, particles, hardware based AA to try and get 1440p/50~60 FPS.

The only really noticeable difference I picked switching from standard to high was the foliage draw distance was a longer and it enabled all the taxing nvidia work options which are nothing bug a drag with minimal visual benefits. There's actually a list now of all that gets enabled in high:

Well, Tabata thinks the PC version has "advanced a generation" ahead of the console versions lol

Got 4251 on Standard, 1080p

R9 280x + i5 6500

Was getting frames around 35 - 45 FPS. Good enough, especially considering the fact that my card is almost 5 years old now lol

Guys, High quality isn't representative of the final build. VXAO and Shadow Libraries are not active in the benchmarks. Moreover, GamerNexus findings reveals improper culling in the benchmark. Even when the creatures are miles away in the world, HairWorks in still active on them so the performance hit is experienced ALL the time. Remains to be seen if the final game exhibits this behavior as well.

Holy shit that is a terrible looking outfit. Why would anyone do this ..

On the flip side there's a playable demo coming. Hopefully with the issues from the benchmark fixed.
