Update 1.07 is live. 5.6GB.
Adds extra content and cut-scenes to chapter 13. Not sure what else it fixes, still waiting on full patch report. Hopefully they did some work on fixing the frame pacing for the HQ version.

Ask Jaanario if he noticed any 'frame pacing'. Like I said, it is not noticeable and if you are distracted from it, just try the Lite mode.
The new content in Chapter 13 can be played from the main menu after completing the game so we don't need to go through the whole game again just to play it.
Nah, XV seems like the kind of game where i'd definitely want the best visuals. I don't really care about frame pacing that much, at this point FFXV's framepacing is synonymous with Andromeda's various quirks
At least you gotta give SE props for frequently updating and adding free content to the game. Not that this was a case like ME3 where they needed to expand on the ending etc.

Old saves work but saves from this version won't work on older patches.
Also, according to GAF, this patch doesn't add anything to Chapter 13. It actually just adds a separate chapter, 13-2 if you will, that has it's own little scenario. So .. I guess chapter 13 will remain the way it is.

visuals are awesome but the developers use a trick of useing a blurr in background to hide the far away textures and give u better texture under your feet.

Final Fantasy 15 will soon be freed from its console prison. Today at Gamescom, Square Enix announced that the brotrip is heading to PC early next year, complete with all DLC and updates. And for waiting so long, we’ll be getting the highest-end version of the game. Hopefully it won’t be another Final Fantasy 13 disaster, then.
Square Enix’s Hajime Tabata boasts that it’s “the most beautiful and highest quality version of Final Fantasy 15 thanks to it being developed on our new version of the Luminous Engine.” Tabata also claims that Nvidia—it’s a Gameworks title—are soothsaying magicians.
"We still see Nvidia as people who look to the future of gaming. What I really love about them is that they have this vision of what they want to do with the tech five and ten years into the future. The CEO is looking 100 years into the future, and I think in 100 years time he'll still be alive and kicking. The Nvidia team is basically a modern day group of magicians. Nvidia’s involvement means Final Fantasy 15 will get to use Turf Effects for realistic grass simulation, Hairworks for realistic hair, Flow for liquid and smoke simulation, fancy ambient occlusion and advanced shadow algorithms. Essentially, it should look lovely, if you’ve got a meaty rig to run it on. It will also support Nvidia’s Ansel photography tool, so you can try to outdo Prompto when it comes to the holiday snaps.

There are 2 ways on a PS4 Pro and 1 way on the XB1 the game can already be played without frame pacing

So i just found out that f***ing s***bag Microsoft shut down Arkane Studio (makers of the brilliant Dishonored series) and Tango Gameworks (makers of the iconic The Evil Within series), among some other studios. Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
