Playstation Final Fantasy Versus XIII gets dated at TGS?

Here is another one of those rumours;

This year's TGS will run between September 20 and 23 and according to a tip we've received from someone who claims to have heard the news "in passing" on the E3 showroom floor, Square Enix will provide a date for Final Fantasy Versus XIII at that time. This tipster did not overhear an actual date; just the "fact" that the date will be revealed at TGS this year. The person who said it is a Square Enix executive of some note, although he wouldn't give us the name for some reason.

What are your thoughts?

P.s: This rumour is rife on sevarl sites. This could very well turn out to be true. But then again, this is Versus we are talking about.

Now that will be something, been waiting so long for them to release Final fantasy 13 versus and The Last guardian. Sony Japan is really slackin off while Sony America is release new games very often.

^^If Versus ever comes out, there's a 90% chance that It'll be multiplat, even if it doesn't come to the 360 It'll be on the Wii U.So it's not a dissapointment just for PS3 owners.

Nomura is probably the last good thing left with SE, and he threatened to leave if his project ended up on another console. So far, he seems to be holding his end of the bargain. And besides, this isn't a friendly competition; it is Kitase's XIII Vs Nomura's Versus now. Nomura has to prove his mettle that he CAN do a better job. Do you honestly think he'll let this opportunity slip by? I think not.

When did he say that he'll leave the project if the game goes multiplatform? And Toriyama's the guy behind XIII, Kitase is producing both XIII and Versus XIII.

Developers don't cater to petty fanboyism, If they did then that'd be very bad for their business as well as their reputations, If Nomura wants to prove his mettle then that's great but I don't see how Versus going multiplat will stop him from doing that.

ANd Yoshinori Kitase is the series producer, He's involved heavily In Every Final Fantasy title and Versus is His game just as much as Nomura's.You're mistaken if you think there's a war going on between the devs @Square.Besides If there's one man in Square Enix that can save FF IMO it's Hryotoki Ito (FF VI, IX, XII).Not Nomura.

^ You can Google it. I am sure you'll find that rumour. And as far as I can remember, he said he'll leave SE, not the project. I know, but XIII vs Versus has in the spotlight for sometime. There was another interview about it, when someone asked Nomura about his competition with Kitase. Again, old news.

^^I've never heard anything like that, Nomura is not a PS fanboy, If he was he wouldn't be making so many titles for the DS and 3DS etc, Developers can't afford to let fanboyism get in the way of making their games, They shouldn't atleast, the more people that play the game the better, Versus going multiplat can only do good.ANd please don't try to tell me that the 360 is the reason why FF XIII is bad because that's just a ridiculous argument.
