I called Mr.Usman he said it is available in model town link road near pace... Rs 1500 for 5MB and 5000 for installation and free wifi,Double speed at midnight... i asked him to do pingtest as i can't go to their office which is on mall road... He said "remind me tomorrow with IPS i will do pingtest then will inform you through sms".... Installation Charges are non-refundable.

20Mb - Rs 2,500/Month

I will ask him tomorrow about time consumption and pingtest to EU, SEA and DUBAI servers..

Also US servers. It would be better if you could give him IP addresses to ping.
@jaymir Taxes will be applicable from 1st of July so If you get your connection before then, you won't have to pay any taxes (at least for the first month).

that is good news... it is near my home... hopefully it would be available there... will phone the guy tomorrow...

Which Broadband Package are you getting, I'm also from A-1 Township. Do tell how their services are and also share some speedtests as well as on IDM and lastly don't forget Pings.

it will take me some time bro... if we are two in the area then it would be good for both of us as they will have more incentive... i am out of money so i will contact the guy again next month at the start... after which when i pay them it would take another month for them to install it... so it is easily 1.5 months away for me... so you might have to wait long for me to post some results... and i will get the 2500rs 20mb package... it is the same amount i pay for the current 4mb ptcl which actually connects only at 2mb for me...

A couple of guys in Lahore (PG) have requested a connection. They should get it in 1-3 weeks. We should be able to get some ping/ speed test results then.

well you and me should get it quick before this thing gets common... sometime of peace and awesome speeds... it gets double speed at night so that is another bonus... more users will mean more fatigue on the network and we all know how that goes, so lets get it asap...

If the network is going to get bogged down due to traffic then it isn't worth subscribing to in the first place, especially with the initial non refundable 5k. Anyway, fiberlink is a reputable corporate company so I'm expecting a good service.

People keep forgetting the shared part. PTCL can only provide full speeds most of the day because they have a monopoly on the infrastructure and they lie in their advertisements. They make dollars profit on a penny just because of their scale and all the infrastructure they inherited. Sooner our people realize they are getting scammed and switch to other providers even PTCL will have to get better.

As long as I'm not getting 300KB/s on a 10Mbps connection, I'm fine

Guys its really frustrating now. I called Usman many times about ping test... Don't know why he make excuses all the time... For first 3 days he said he will be buzy... then after some noise issue on phone he can't hear me and hangup phone.. after finally 5 days he did ping test to ips and said ip couldn't be resolved... i tried many times to guide him how to do ping test.. but every time he fail to do so... He really don't know how to do pingtest? Or he is making this up to cover some issue?

First they said me it will be done till 10 june then i called on 12 june they said i forget to tell you .your order was cancelled but we got 2 more clients in that area now and we will deploy your connection till 25 june now

When i asked for their coverage in johar town they told me it is available in my place,so next day they send their representative to my home for order . While i was filling up the form i asked few questions from them which they were unable to answer.So i decided to visit their office and submit money their.but after few hours i received call from fiberlink and was told that my area is not in their coverage.I just wonder what would happen if i paid them.

Tell him to get it installed in the coming week or you are going to complain via PTA. :damnit: So unprofessional..
