Viber has been blocked by the government today, saw it on the news.

its working fine here

It is an issue, call would drop every 10 seconds, and sometimes even missed calls. But there seems to no issue on Viber on iPhone. Dunno what's wrong with Android.

on ios when you select text there is a "define" option that works offline i doesnt open a new app or page or anything a small box pops up and shows the definition...anythign similar on andorid?

Need help facing bad Lags in Need for Speed MostWanted on my Samsung Galaxy S3, where as my younger brother also owns a Black S3 but he says his NFS MW doesn't lags but I don't believe him. Please if someone knows its fix please do share.


Also I needed to know that is JellyBean 4.3 Update is available on S3 or not ? Since I checked via my cell and my brothers and both of them shows a message that your phone is already updated where both S3's are on JB 4.1.2

i dont know about the lags but the 4.3 update will be available later this year

Yeah sadly I heard the same news by another PG member who quoted that "It will be available for S3 in November" damn so many days.

Didn't faced any lag today after disabling Voice S yesterday night. I think it was causing the lags because it consumes to much memory.

Yes, Nexus devices lag less due to no additional skinning and extra's. The only devices I know, which do not lag are Nexus 4 and Moto X

Nexus 4 is the answer to your question. I have over a 100 apps and the 2Gigs of ram doesn't give in.

Yara I've extensively used RAZR M and it was an absolute delight using this set. Awesome touch n no lag whatsoever w.r.t day to day use. Do give it a trial run.

Was just a little curious about how apps like viber and whatsapp sync contacts. Will I see everyone from my address book who has viber irrespective of whether he has my number saved or not. Or will I only see contacts whose number is saved in my phone and who also have my number saved in their phones?

For example if someone deletes my number from his phone but I still have his number saved on my address book, will we see each other in our viber contacts?

You will see him as you have his number qnd will be able to communicate with him as well even if the receiver dosnt have ur number

a contact will appear in your viber/whatsapp contact list irrespective of whether they have your number or not.

Hey everyone. I need a quick answer. I tried to flash ParanoidAndroid on my Xperia J. Didn't work. I can still access FLASHBOOT and FASTBOOT. Can I just flash an older firmware instead of a newer one? I had a 11.2.A.0.33. Can I just flash 11.2.A.0.31 as it has more documentation and tricks? My phone came with a 31 but I updated it to 33.

EDIT: I want to go back to stock ROM from ParanoidAndroid because it's not detecting my SIM. What should I do?

Can't you access your recovery ? if not then flash your desired firmware via flashtool(i would prefer the updated one) and if you are able to get into recovery then flash stock based flashable zip.

Are you rooted? If yes, then boot into recovery and fix permissions.
