No love for Kinect. Perhaps it's the child Microsoft wished it never had with its Xbox.
The conference was disappointing in the sense that there was nothing on display truly mind-blowing, nothing that floored me. It was a steady performance nonetheless with lots and lots of games shown and they were good games, most definitely.
Coming to Indie games, a special mention for "Inside" from the creators of Limbo. Lovely.
It's a B- from me but Jack Tertton gave them an A.
It was a good press conference. They showed lots of games back to back and showed their dedication towards gaming. Though I felt they might have went through the games a little bit too fast. And many of the games were just trailers, I expected a bit more gameplay from some games.
I liked Ori and The Blind Forest, the Sunset Overdrive gameplay and Crackdown.
its a good day to be a XBO owner. so many exclusives and great games. no TV/Kinect BS and non-stop games made this a memorable E3 conference. if only halo5's trailer wasn't so disappointing. anyway looking forward to evolve and halo5 BETA. Phil spencer owned the show floor kinda like how Jack did last E3

Little love then. Today's conference was in sharp contrast to their earlier ones where Kinect was the center of attention. They barely mentioned it apart from that brief look at Dance Central.
Makes me think they're gradually phasing it out. At least from the gaming scene, that is.
Pretty much my impressions also. I'm a bit more excited for Sunset Overdrive too, but the rest was just passively boring. INSIDE is the best reveal for me.
Just saw this, minus the alst 6 minutes, damn loadshedding, saw upto kamiyas new phantom dust ! looking epic
some games caught my eye
sunset overdrive, witcher 3 wild hunt ( not an rpg fan but looks CLASSY ), division since last e3 , forza horizon 2 is good too but no in gameplay :S, one two more...
Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.
I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.
Still, I don't like either Sony or Microsoft as they are focusing more on corporate greed than delighting customers. PC gaming is best of gaming and worth every penny.
PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.
About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.
