I intended on Pirating D3 but this 'selling Items for real money' is too tempting to ignore.

Please tell me i can buy Starcraft:HotS with the "Blizzard Credits" i may earn from D3 :S



Btw,im getting my copy from UK.
The game is 'region free' isnt it? (as in,the client can run on any Region-Based Bnet account)

That is correct. You can select the region of your choosing.

As for the Real money auction house (RMAH) well there would be two options for it. If you are using your battle.net for RMAH then you gain credit in your account that you can use for buying stuff on Blizz store. However, you cannot cash it out.

The other option yet un announced will allow you to receive money in your account that you can cash out. Most probably, this will be linked with PayPal or others of the sort.

Also, this used to happen with me a lot that I always and always used to find sets prices and legendary items of other classes instead of my mine. The only option at that time was that I could either sell that or trade it with someone in game. With the help of the Auction House I can finally make good money out of it while can also buy items that I really require.

indeed sir je, besides I would recommend to poke PG players first for trade thats why i was saying that we should open a trade channel here on PG regarding D3 items that we can exchange among our selves or atleast sell them with some discounted price. unfortunatly i will not be able to join you guyz on launch couz i am shifting my house now a days and it will take around a month to fully settle down i think by 1st june i will be free to rumble with Diablo.

• The Americas: Battle.net Balance, PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover
• Europe: Battle.net Balance, PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Visa, Electron, Virtual Visa, Visa Delta

[h=4]What options are available for receiving the proceeds of auction house sales in each region?[/h]Players who have access to any real-money auction house will have the ability to store auction earnings in their Battle.net Balance (up to the maximum permitted Battle.net Balance) . As an advanced feature, players in certain regions will have the additional option to have the proceeds sent to their PayPal account instead of storing the earnings in their Battle.net Balance. The process of transferring proceeds to PayPal will be subject to a 15% transfer fee, calculated based on the amount being transferred.Players must choose which method they wish to use prior to posting an auction, on a per-auction basis.
Note that if receiving the proceeds of a sale into a player’s Battle.net Balance would put that player over the maximum permitted balance, the player must receive the proceeds through PayPal or other approved third-party payment service (in regions where available). In these cases, the player will be instructed to contact customer service for further assistance. In regions where an approved third-party payment service is not available, once a player’s Battle.net Balance reaches the maximum permitted balance, the player cannot make further sales on the real-money auction house.

That we can do but you have to keep in mind the RMAH is region locked. An item on the Asia AH will not be available or tradeable in that matter to other regions. However, you can trade items with all regions for in game currency. Bottom line make sure all of us are in the same region.

@Desolator bhaiya i thought of that at first place but I think it wont be the only option, i mean lets suppose i have the Immortal King Chest that I am selling that and you want to buy it, we can set PKR amount of it and you can transfer money by anymean ( Easypaisa, bank account etc etc) that we both need to get online togather and start a game as in group, I will drop the item on the floor that you can certainly pic or exchange while you are with me in group, my idea is totaly self assumed I have no clue what blizz will do about it but if things went the way i am talking we will be in heaven atleast

I'm quite sure you can buy a EU copy of a game even though you have a US battle.net account. Cuz when you login with you battle.net account you still have the option to select the region of the game you're buying.

i only have the option to buy Global region game...but what i was saying is ke since i have a US WoW account and RMAH is region locked i guess it would be better for me to purchase US D3 instead of EU so that i can buy WoW goodies too

I hope trades outside the AH ( RM or free ) dont work, otherwise the Chinese sweat shop farmers will destroy the trading system to undercut the 15% commission Blizzard plans to keep for every transaction.

RMAH is easy logic,

US account RMAH will work with $ currency on US servers only but the game is region free you can play on any server i.e. EU/US/ASIA
EU accounts will work with Euro/GBP on EU region only but you can play the game in any region.

whats so hard in understanding it?
