I'm thinking about buying Diablo 3 directly from Battle.net. It'll be expensive (60 x 120 = Rs.7,200), but then I'll be able to download client data now and will be able to start playing on release date. Bad idea?

cjs keys also have links to download the client..havent tried them myself though if they work then it will be a really bad idea to buy from battle.net

^ Well, cjs keys isn't exactly cheap either (38 x 150 = Rs.5,700). Rs.1,500 extra for buying from official source could be considered a bad idea, but not a REALLY bad idea :wink2:

There isn't really a big difference between official or retail purchases. They usually work fine.

The pings for EU is between 180ms-250ms where US is between 350ms-500ms. This was the case in WOW so im guessing the same principle will be applied here as well.

I'm quite sure you can buy a EU copy of a game even though you have a US battle.net account. Cuz when you login with you battle.net account you still have the option to select the region of the game you're buying.
