Watched the legends part

It was good, but could have been better. So Stein has a daughter lily, and doesn't want to erase the time aberration. I loved mick's line to supergirl, ''call me'' lol.

Liked the bar scene between Oliver and Barry. Gotta say, Oliver was the VIP of the crossover.

Hope next crossover isn't about aliens, and is more of a crossover villain focused, something like vandal savage, but stronger. Next crossover should have Original Laurel returning, and constantine also.

It is RIP. Maybe he is facing memory issues or something

I want to see more of the JSA :/

Also wonder how will they take down the reverse flash? They definitely need a speedster at side. I'm guessing Jay Garrick?

[h=1]Legends of Tomorrow: Young George Lucas to Appear[/h]

The Arrowverse has never been afraid of making smart, incredibly geeky pop culture references from time to time. Practically every episode of The Flash features Cisco referring to a movie or book of some kind, and it’s clear that the creative teams behind the series are more than willing to let their inner voices speak through their characters, especially when it comes to honoring the films and books that were sources of inspiration to them. That sort of zany, tongue-in-cheek self-awareness has just gone on and continued in full force with Legends of Tomorrow too.
Looks like DC’s time-traveling series about a group of good and bad guys journeying through time to fight the forces of evil is only going to get even more referential in the second half of its current season as well – based on some new details about one of the show’s most-anticipated upcoming episodes being released, that is.
Speaking with EW, executive producer Marc Guggenheim revealed that the ninth episode of the season, titled “Raiders of the Lost Art”, will not only feature the return of Arthur Darvill’s Rip Hunter as a film director in the late 1960s, but will also feature a time aberration in which a young George Lucas (played by Matt Angel) quits film school, thus never making Star Wars or Raiders of the Lost Ark. Turns out, the change will apparently have devastating effects on two key members of the team also:

“Because of circumstances, the time aberration in episode 209 is George Lucas quits film school. As a result, he never makes Star Wars or Raiders of the Lost Ark. As a result, Ray, who became an engineer because of Star Wars, and Nate, who became a historian because of Raiders, slowly start to lose their brilliance, because those things that inspired them to become who they are didn’t exist.
We were watching a cut of it, and I said to Greg [Berlanti] that 209 is either going to be the episode where we’ll say that the show found a new gear in terms of how zany it can be, or it’s the episode that’s going to get us all fired. It really is. You’re laughing out loud, I think with it, but it’s like, ‘Are we really doing this?’ It’s the ’70s bar fight on steroids. The whole episode is that level of crazy.”

The episode is going to be coming at an opportune time for the series, when fandom levels for Star Wars are higher than they’ve ever been before really, and an episode dedicated to the strength of those films and the other iconic titles to emerge from the Steven Spielberg and George Lucas camps will likely be welcomed with open arms by fans. Legends of Tomorrow will also be effectively tying the time traveling story into the same episode as Rip Hunter’s long-awaited return here, as fans have been speculating and wondering about his disappearance ever since it happened in the season 2 premiere episode.
Guggenheim called the episode, “Flowers for Algernon with Ray and Nate,” and seeing how both Ray and Nate’s intellects are negatively affected by this particular time aberration should give the series one of its more interesting, and possibly, surprisingly emotional tangents yet – if executed well at least. No matter what, though, it sounds as though Legends of Tomorrow is going to be bringing Rip Hunter back the only way it knows how: in the most ridiculously geeky and zany way possible.
Legends of Tomorrow continues with ‘Raiders of the Lost Art’ on Tuesday, January 24th, 2017 on The CW.

[h=1]Legends of Tomorrow Season 2.5 Will Include Legion of Doom Payoff[/h]

In its second season, Legends of Tomorrow has become a completely different show compared to what it was in season 1. No longer chasing after a single villain with a single goal in mind, the show has gotten something of a reboot with some new legends (goodbye Captain Cold and Hawkgirl, hello Vixen and Citizen Steel), a new leader as Sara/White Canary takes over for the missing Rip Hunter, and a new job protecting history from aberrations that change the future. This has allowed for more standalone episodes, a bit more humor, and for the characters to explore where they fit in the team.
But now that the season is nearly half over, the time has come for all the different elements to start moving together. As they have traveled through time, fixing aberrations, the Legends have been looking for Rip Hunter – who the audience has seen filming a movie, sporting a new American accent. And now that there have been a few confrontations with the villains of the season, its time to find out a bit more of what they are up to.
Most of the time aberrations this season have been caused by Reverse Flash, assisted by Damien Darhk and the newly-joined Malcolm Merlyn. Together, they make a pretty formidable team, known to fans as the Legion of Doom. Legends of Tomorrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim recently spoke about the Legion of Doom to TVLine:
“The second half of the season is really paying off the Legion of Doom and what we now know is the MacGuffin of Season 2, the Spear of Destiny… Changing time is like painting with the biggest paintbrush possible; using the Spear of Destiny is like using a very, very fine-point technical pen.”

The Legion of Doom made their debut not in the comics, but instead in the Hanna-Barbera cartoon Challenge of the Super Friends. Originally the Legion was made up of thirteen different Batman, Superman, Flash, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern villains. None of the members of the Legion on Legends of Tomorrow were among the original membership, but now that Mick Rory has seen an appearance of his old friend (and original Legion member) Leonard Snart/Captain Cold, perhaps Snart will be joining the Legion. One of the fun elements of a show about time travel is that just because someone has dies, that doesn’t mean a past version of them can’t return. After all, before he became a Legend, Snart was absolutely a bad guy.
So far the Legion of Doom has been changing history to get their hands on various artifacts, like the Spear of Destiny, but their reason for doing so has yet to be explained. Whatever their plan is, it should make for a difficult challenge for the Legends to face.
Legends of Tomorrow returns to the CW on a new night Tuesday January 24, following The Flash.

[h=1]Black Flash to Appear in Legends of Tomorrow[/h]

Ever since The Flash was spun-off from Arrow, November crossovers have been a big part of the DC Comics based shows on The CW. Each year, as more shows have been added and more characters have become available, they have grown enormously. But November is not the only time the shows in the Arrowverse cross over. On occasion, characters from one show have popped up on others. Before ‘Invasion’ even aired this season, Barry had visited Felicity to discuss Flashpoint and Ollie helped Nate begin searching for the lost Legends.
None of the four shows set in the Arrowverse have more crossover action going on than Legends of Tomorrow. In the first season, the only main character who was not first introduced on Arrow or The Flash was Rip Hunter, everyone else was an ally or an enemy of the heroes we were already familiar with. And this season, the crossovers were amplified again, when Wentworth Miller, John Barrowman, and Katie Cassidy all signed multi-show contracts, largely to help introduce the Legion of Doom on Legends of Tomorrow.
And it sounds like there is plenty more crossover action in store for the Legends. In an interview with EW, executive producer Marc Guggenheim confirmed several upcoming crossovers:

Next week’s episode of Arrow features, I will say, the fastest crossover with Flash we’ve ever had… We, just yesterday, made an offer to an actor to reprise their role from one of the other shows in the season finale of Legends. Oh, and in the penultimate episode we’re gonna have… I can’t be specific about this, but it’s one of the most fun things I think we’ve ever done on the show… a character from one of the other shows on Legends in a way that you’ve never seen before, you may never see again, but will, I think, just send fans into squeals of joy.”

And that was not all Guggenheim had to tease, he mentioned the return of someone from Barry Allen’s recent past:
“We’re going to be seeing the Black Flash on Legends.
The Black Flash, whose return has already been promised, was seen for only a moment in the season 2 finale of The Flash when Zoom was turned into the character by the speed force. He’s essentially Death for speedsters. That could be good news for the Legends since they’ve struggled with fighting the Reverse-Flash, who in the last episode captured Rip Hunter before they could save him. Perhaps if the Reverse-Flash was busy outracing death, the Legends will have an easier time defeating the rest of the Legion of Doom.
Guggenheim included a few more things that fans will have to look forward to on Legends of Tomorrow:
“Lily Stein, who was introduced in Flash 308, makes an appearance next week. So there’s a fair amount of Flash-ness going on in Legends. I wish I could say that we were so smart to take advantage of the new timeslot and do that, but we weren’t that smart. We just had already sort of been doing that organically anyway when we found out about the new time slot. I will say this: There’s a love scene in episode 11 and we were in the editing room on it… it’s a love scene, it gets a little steamy… and I was joking, ‘Let’s take that 9 p.m. timeslot out for a spin.’”
Sounds like fans can expect an exciting second half to the season.

Legends of Tomorrow
will air ‘The Legion of Doom’ on January 21 at 9 p.m. on the CW.

[h=1]Legends of Tomorrow: Captain Cold Will Arrive ‘Shortly’[/h]

After a short winter hiatus, things are kicking back into gear for The CW’s Arrowverse. The Flash continues dealing with the fallout of Savitar’s prophecy, Arrow is knee-deep in Prometheus’ plan and a search for the next Black Canary, and Supergirl has to deal with a whole lot of aliens. Over on Legends of Tomorrow, meanwhile, they’ve got problems of their own. Aside from the usual issues of fixing time anomalies and saving history, they’ve got their own batch of rogues to contend with in the coming weeks.
For starters, Black Flash, who may be the new version of Zoom, will be making life very hard for the Legends. On top of that, they’ve got another evil speedster to contend with in the form of Reverse-Flash. Also known as Eobard Thawne, the villainous Speed Force user has teamed up with Arrow foes Damien Darhk and Malcolm Merlyn to form the Legion of Doom. We’ve already seen their tonight’s episode teased, and it looks like Rip Hunter will be getting the worst of their evil machinations. Meanwhile, there’s one more member of the supervillain team that’s still waiting in the wings, and he’ll be putting our heroes on ice.

It’s been long-teased that Captain Cold will rejoin the series, and when he does he’ll be returning to his evil ways with the Legion. CBR recently spoke to Reverse-Flash actor Matt Letscher and asked him when fans can expect Leonard Snart to reappear in the flesh and what he’ll be up to when he does.
“Well, I can’t tease too much, other than to say he’s definitely on his way. He’s going to be here shortly, in the next few episodes. He is going to be a full-fledged member of the Legion of Doom and be very valuable to them on multiple fronts. Eobard has done his homework in this regard, and he’s recruited somebody who’s fully on board with the Legion of Doom’s mission and he also understands the complications that Captain Cold’s relationship with the Legends… the psychological complications that inform Eobard and his plans. That’s probably about all I can tease, but it’s really fun!”

Unsurprisingly, Letscher isn’t able to reveal much. It’s likely for the best, though, as the mystery of when Snart will return and why he’ll be fighting against the Legends will be worth seeing play out. Letscher does tease the conflict that Snart will encounter, however, in facing his former friends. It’ll be interesting to see whether his change of heart influences Mick, who’s always been more prone to play in the shades of gray between good and bad.
Either way, this new version of the Legion of Doom is shaping up to be quite different from the previous TV incarnations and what we’ve seen in the comics. In the other adapations of the group, Cold has usually been a member, but Merlyn and Darhk haven’t (not surprising given their relative obscurity outside of the Arrowverse). Reverse-Flash has also never joined the group, though that feels like an oversight given his long history of fighting against the Flash. This season of Legends of Tomorrow has been shaping up to be a lot more fun and focused than its predecessor, so whatever changes they make will likely work out in the show’s favor.
Legends of Tomorrow continues Tuesday, January 31 with ‘The Legion of Doom’ at 9pm on The CW.

The new episode was awesome. Legends is definitely the best show this season.

Was awesome to see a legion of doom focused episode. I see Eobard is scared of the Black Flash.

Imagine if Slade Wilson was part of the group....it would be epic.
