Not to mention the orgasm CerebralTiger had online over the "final boss"
The final boss alone is a "Holy Sh*t!" moment
I was contemplating the same thing and decided to complete the game around end of August so I was prepped and ready for the expansion
But all that stuff was from the expansion. No one called the Forbidden West ambitious.
In Cyberpunk 2077's case, the cross-gen original game was ambitioooous, so what insane levels will the current-gen only expansion reach?
And i'm still not talking about Forbidden West, but how Burning Shores scored and it screamed "next-gen" and "holy sh*t" to CerebralTiger.

But I'm talking about how a current-gen only expansion for an already ambitiioooous cross-gen game ought to be blowing minds (far more than Burning Shores or Ratchet)
The technical aspects were what impressed me, and I clarified this in the Forbidden West thread. The expansion itself, while an improvement over the base game, wasn't particularly great. Much of the technical improvements were underutilized

A "next-gen" expansion "not shackled by last gen systems" with a "holy sh*t" boss fight scored 82 and that's a "fine score" for you.

Since you deem the aggregate review score of 82 a "fine" one for a "next gen only expansion with holy sh*t moments", logic says anything equal or above that would be "fine" (or better - whichever word you wanna choose to describe it) for you as well. If it isn't, then that exposes your own double standards. What you personally think about any game in question here, is irrelevant.
"next-gen only expansion with holy sh*t moments" was a statement specific to technology making room for new gameplay opportunities. Said opportunities were not meaningfuly realized by the expansion, however

What remains to be seen, however, is how far CerebralTiger will extend that definition to range of scores. Is 81 also "fine", same as 83? What score is "good" or "bad"?
