I'm away for a bunch of days and Necrokiller here thought he could get away with trying to present this as some sot of masterpiece lmaooooo
Goddamn that long range knife kill + knife kill during a slide + double jump into an aerial kill combo
Goddamn the constant dashing to dodge the turret then ripping it apart to use as a weapon
Damn those are some poorly implemented mechanics, not to mention the poorly implemented physics that govern them. Yuck!
Still waiting for CerebralTiger to tell me which shooter can match all these slick abilities
Did you miss the part where I said they are poorly realized? Slide, slow motion, stealth kill, carry bodies, hide bodies, melee combat, aerial kills, dozens of perks and abilities, lockpicking etc. tou Far Cry mein bhi hai. What's the point when it plays like shit?
All supported by satisfying to shoot weapons with great hit reactions, punchy audio/visual feedback, fluid character movement, dynamic and seamless cover system
Holy sheeeet how did I miss this gem of a sentence from Necrokiller's earlier post
The hit reactions are downright terrible with a lot of enemies being bullet sponges, even after you've leveled up. Like literally, did you play a different game developed excloooosively for you?
Aiming down the sight is complete garbage. The transition is extremely stiff and nauseating. It's The Outer Worlds level bad. Even Metro Exodus' ADS isn't this bad.
The cover system is trash. To see how a well-implemented context based cover system works, check out zombie simulator part II (aka the game that crushed this so-called "ambitiooous" hellhole of a mess in the GOTY deliberations
Console pe to Counter Strike bhi thi, kya bana usska?
No one cared? Yeh bana uss ka coz there are much, much better shooters available on consoles.
Aapka complaint kuch aur hai keh har game CoD jaisa control ho which itself is as casual a shooter as it gets.
COD does have e-sport presence, but putting that aside, I didn't see Radical mention anything about competitive/casual FPS controls. He just pointed out that COD controls fine regardless of whether you play on mouse/kb or a controller (MWII even supports gyro + flick stick on PS5), and that Cyberpunk 2077 plays like shit on a controller. I'll take it a step further and add that the latter doesn't play well on mouse/kb either The ADS is still poor, the enemy AI is awful, and colliders are so poorly placed that you often find yourself getting stuck in invisible geometry during combat encounters. The latter is a thing with several European devs, and games like Metro Exodus and Horizon Forbidden West also suffer from it.
It's no wonder, then, that the game ended up with a low Metascore of 75
Necrokiller should simply say that driving in Cyberpunk 2077 feels better than driving in Forza Horizon, so everyone can label him as a joke character and call it a day
Plenty of options to adjust in the menu, more than most shooters provide, this sounds like a you problem.
The options do jack shit. I tried multiple configs. It plays like shit. Period.
