Anyone using Twitch.tv with connect service? It buffers for a period of time even at 4 MBPS (like it buffers for 4-6 seconds after every 20 seconds of smooth video playback on low settings). It only works smoothly after 2 AM or so, and starts to lag at around 1 PM. :/ Anyone know about the solution?

I am thinking to switch to connect red from PTCL. I live in Nazimabad 4, very near to one of the connect offices. I have some question for connect users :
1. Does the internet connection keeps dropping?
2. Does torrent download/uploading speed really suck?
3. Can I use WIFI router with connect?
4. If I download too much, will connect have a problem with that? (by too much I mean more than 300 GB per month)

They are offering it only to employee.. If you have a jugaar you can get a 10MBPS Connection.. I've one too.

Though is it only me or Connect is effin SLOW these days? Getting 512KBPS download on a 10 MB Connection :X

im having problem too, getting half of my package most of time.. and pings have gone higher from 3ms to 50ms :/
FYI, i read on their site that they're conducting maintenance on some marine fibre or idk!

It was Seamewe4 Fiber which was fixed on December 18th. And i get constant 1ms ping.. still Browsing is shity as F%^K. Even my provider asked Connect. And they aren't even telling him what is the problem.. Bottom line Connect's customer service is bullcrap!

IDK why I didn't just quit Connect by now . It was all fine in the beginning i.e August till Oct-mid nov I guess . But December had been ridiculously terrible . I've been cursing at them the whole time . I can't play bf3 at all .
ran a ping test and this is what I got

Like .I just want to see if there's a chance I could get PTCL GPON >___> I would tbh . Because the latency sucks balls . I was happy with it ,getting 130ms ping on more European servers but now . Now I see a 130ms server i'm like and just when I join it ,I find the ping to be more than 1k.

i m living nazimabad no. 3.. previous month i've got CONNECT net.. at the starting of the week it worked gud.. after that i m suffering from connect service

neither i m able to play Counter strike
nor i can surfing very well.. even facebook.com is taking too much time to open the page

today i got something better ping than previous days

is that only me who's getting some those issues...

i have complaint many times to my cable operator & his replied that it would take time to resolve

i m gonna change my mind again to get rid off this CONNECT if problem wouldn't be resolved in next 10 days

Create a custom VPN with alternative IP of blue,yellow,orange,red.. Your problem would be solved.. I play CS GO and i get max 40ms on UAE based servers.. And 150ms on European.

So latency is fine.. Its just that download speed is utterly slow these days.

Don't follow every step.. Just create a custom VPN.. then change encryption to none. And its done.

Thats how.. And about alternative IP.. which connection do you have blue yellow red or orange?
