I've heard about Chartered Accountants getting a lot, but that involves math, which i find horribly boring. :\

Maths?

Chartered Accounting involves math to the extent of Plus, Minus, Divide, Multiply. Nothing else.

In CA you study Economics, Business, Law, Taxation, Auditing, Accounting etc. Doesn't contain alot of math, Thats a misconception.

I love computers, but I've asked around and it turns out that computer based jobs aren't that good in Pakistan. There's not much scope for computers here

You want to earn the salary of established professionals as soon as you graduate. It has to be halal but you don't want to try too hard, the job that u like doesn't pay in pakistan and u don't want to leave.


I figured u lived in a bubble but that's extremely immature thinking...keep your options open and wait till your wise enough to make the right call.

If u think there is a magical job that starts from 4Lakh Rs Salary believe me each and everyone of us on Pakgamers.com would have been opting for it

there was another thread quite a few months back from another "aspiring youth" who believe he is gonna earn 90kRs Starting from the field he chose (IT) and was quite shocked when faced with reality that u start with 20-30kRs

No one is gonna hand over a big pay check to a "Noob" which is what u r for the first 2-3 Years after graduation

on the serious note 4-6 k is definitely possibly ... if you get a job like for instance as a field engineer at a big multi national company like schlumberger.. your starting pay will be around 3-4 lakhs .. so it is possible

thats just one and they pay their interns 40kRs (if only i had the source for it (sm1) )

else the big multinationals in Pakistan pay 3-4Lakhs to the top management but again it takes time and experience
forget about the first 10 years completely

interns ka pata nahi but job lag jaya tou maza ... especially field pa lag jaya.. then bohat ziada paisa.. talking about experience the country head of schlumberger is only 35 years old .. so 10+ years of experience and he earns in excess of 1 million rs.. basic salary only

Job wise the best money you can get w/ a Undergraduate degree (In business) is 60K a month, and only if your working for a multinational company which only hires 4-5 people a YEAR in Pakistan. After 5-6 years you should be earning upwards of 4-5 Mill. So yeah, you gotta be really really good to get into the company.

I remember just a few years ago I was your age, and from that moment on and till now millions of things have changed, you might decide something right now, but believe me you will most likely end up changing your mind. Don't worry too much about this stuff. Just focus on improving yourself, getting into a good university and doing what you love...opportunities will open up.

Look, I'm a graphic designer. I know a friend who failed twice in inter, was a design addict from grade 8th. Now does freelance and gets about 2 $250 jobs(mostly logos). Thats 40K+. He only started an year ago. And for him this will probably go beyond a peti(1 lakh) within 2 years.
The point being if you do something you love. You'll surely excel in it and money will flow.
