So it's that time of the year again. I remember there was a thread here last year, I'm going to read all through it. But just wanted some updated recommendations.

My room is fairly small, 1 ton will work just fine. No loadshedding or voltage problems. Please let me know what you guys would recommend?
I would like to keep it around 40-45k. But don't mind paying a little extra if something's worth it.

use Acson , inverter technology. little bit expensive. but good investment low bijlee ka bill and can run on generator(4kva) or ups(5kva);

Inverter / DC based are coming.. new tech.

Gree 18C1TH2 1 5 Ton INVERTER Split Air Conditioner in P

Gree 12C1TH2 1 0 Ton INVERTER Split Air Conditioner in Pa

LG INVERTER P126QS 1 Ton Split Air Conditioner in Pakista

if you've proper voltage and unlimited bijleee then dont buy inverter/dc based.. as these save the electricity.. aur electricy hum sy kahan save hoti ha.. :shand:

I have a Dawlance one in my room currently. Bought it around 6 or 7 years back. It worked fine for first 3 years and gave me a shit load of headache in the past 3 years due to service and gas leakage. I'm in the process of removing it, hence the thread. I wanted to steer clear of Dawlance this time around, but this one seems tempting for 43k(ish). Not sure I require 1.5 Ton though.

PEL ACs are good for extreme summers in pakistan...Trust me speaking from experience.

Thank You, both. Though I'm still not sold on PEL or Inverter ACs. Btw Ascon sounds good, I saw 1-ton one for 45000. And there was a inverter one for 80k or something. That's way out of my budget.

For 1 ton, Mitsubishi Mr. Slim Extreme is probably the best AC to have.
I agree with this plus the electricity bill is extremely low.

Thanks guys. 1-ton Mr. Slim is for 50k and Heavy Duty is for 51k. Any proper difference you guys know of?

From my personal experience, stand clear of Dawlance.
We had one installed about 5 years ago. Have regretted it since then. Gas leaks almost ever year.

We also have an Orient AC. Bought it more than 10 years ago and Alhumdulillah has been working fine abhi tak.
It had the occasional gas leaks etc but overall it's been very reliable.

Gree is pathetic honestly, got four of the 1 Ton in my home and they are "so so" I'd rather suggest Orient or Haier.

Karachi, Pakistan.
Anyone have any experience with a single outer capable of handling 2 inner units individually. Good for small gallries having small area for outer units installation....?

i bought this Dawlance ac last year on the recomendation of @Blastwave and its working great price was 41k. (much better cooling compared to my 1.5 Ton Mitubishi Heavy duty one)

I had 1.5ton Mitubishi Heavy Duty and the AC is SHIT gave problems form day one and died after 2 years and its very hard to get it repaired most of the local AC repairing guys don't know how to repair this AC.
My unit is still rotting in the basement needs compressor replacement

Buy Mr.Slim if you are going for Mitubishi but 50k for 1-ton AC too much if you ask me.

Update: So after reading last year's thread and consulting a few other people, I went out and bought Haier's 1-ton Long Throw. Cost me a total of 40k with installation and giving them my previous Dawlance one. Price is a bit on the higher side, but it's been three days and so far has been totally worth it.

Still, I don't like either Sony or Microsoft as they are focusing more on corporate greed than delighting customers. PC gaming is best of gaming and worth every penny.

PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.

About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.

did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!
