That's even more sad to hear cause of feral cat wound , my cat once had same experience barley escaped death that was cause we give him honey along with amoxcilin , any way what happen has happen I once had a parrot long time before I had cat , when he died I couldn't stopped crying for days , it took so many years to me to get another pet that was cat . Some one once told me these pets when they die they are like sacrafice a gift they give to there owners taking some bad happening bout to happen to owners . Rest I know pain will be there for a week at least
