    First of all, please search for only matte finish lacquer spray can. Apply it on your finalized paint and it will not completely prevent scratching but it will make the outer coat durable and absorb minor scratches onto its ownself avoiding scratch not to go very deep till base.

    You DO NOT need to add anything like taar-peen in spray can lacquer. Its all ready to use spray can. Hope it is helpful.

    First of all thanks for recognizing me to assist you.

    Lacquer is the final coat over completely finalized paint job and it is all transparent varnish applied over paint. It helps prolonging life of paint finish. So far I have only seen glossy lacquer available in spray can but I guess it must also be available in matte finish for matte paint jobs.

    You can apply two coats of lacquer over final coat of paint to give it close to scratch resistant surface. Check the paint market for matte lacquer spray can to finalize your CM690 case.
