Totally. I was one of the people who were encouraging others to buy 2x970 cards for 4K gaming, but not anymore... Nvidia hid the lie for 4 months and that is whats sad about the whole thing.
performance difference, YES it is, even in negative after 3.5GB. but WHY NVIDIA lied to people. users are more pissed off due to false advertisement and incorrect specs. for long they could hide the specs misconfigs. False advertisement make them pay,

I should not test it with ultra textures because my processor and ram are inadequate. I3 and 4gb ram. With ultra texture the game would become a stutter fest due to pro and ram alone...
Oh, i guess i3 is really low for ultra level gaming. plus 4GB is damn low these days. CODAW uses more than 4-5GB RAM. and many other gAmes uses more than 4Gb ram for smoothness. you should upgrade both ends. both are bottleneck with for 970.
similarly have above 2.5GB VRAM usage, i noticed in COD AW. so its memory intensive too besides CORE

I really despise false advertisement; this is fraud and any (individual or corporation) should be penalized for fraudulent activity.

I advice people to exercise patience when buying a product of latest generation from any company. Earlier revelations are mostly rosy, but shortcomings become apparent with passage of time.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
