whats wrong with " this is the end " ?

it was AWESOMEEEEEEEE
Like someone here said earlier, Seth is for specific viewers, i basically dont like his direction, people tend to over-act all the time or may be he writes his characters as such. In every case, Seth is not for me. Though i liked The Interview more than This is the End, but both dont cross 5.5/10 for me. Its just my personal opinion, im not trying to prove something here.

Watched "A Walk among the TombStones"
This could have been developed into a great suspense thriller with much better viewer pleasure. I will not speak about the story here will just criticize its weaker areas.
The main character of Matt Scudder (Liam Neeson) lacked initial contact with the viewers. The introductory scenes from his past were nice but could have been added as cut scenes during the movie, would have developed into a better character and connection with the viewers.
The villeins were precise and very careful until they went for their last hunt, which was very stupid. Yes offcourse our hero outsmarted them but he was a usual "Five O" not some Sherlock + Bryan Mills (Taken). Why i see Liam so monotonous in every movie, he could have a different personality in this one but he missed that in this movie, which is why this movie will remain "unremarkable".
Villeins characters were so impressive, the expressions n eyes were so focused until they went for their final hunt. Their instincts saved him up till now but movies last sequence was all over the place.
Really felt bad how this great story turned out to be an average flick.
6.5/10

Danny Mcbride was indeed great. His every scene was gold. Favourite scene in the whole movie was his Porn argument with Franco, I literally couldn't stop laughing at it.

A WALK AMONG THE TOMBSTONES (2014)

What does it take to be a good detective? A strong bladder. Aha, He jokes. -_- Or maybe not. The movie is as dark as it gets, like a usual thriller. We have an alcoholic cop; Liam Neeson, makes a mistake which takes an innocent life, retires and starts moonwalking as a private eye. Meets a homeless brat, trains him as associate. Girls being slaughtered, resting in pieces. The better advice Neeson gives us, is "Take it easy". Oh and there is also a scene where Liam Neeson is walking among the tombstones, right before he meets up with the "bad guys". Go figure :gg:

Apart from some good stuff, like 'Counseling the kid with the gun (shoot yourself in the head)' or some 'Taken' shizz when 'negotiating with the mofo kidnappers'; which was mildly cold; there isn't a reason which warrants Neeson's presence. Not that he doesn't successfully makes his presence noted, which he does, brilliantly. His character is brilliant, but poorly executed. The script holds him back, and weak psycho villains, and zero involvement of female actors, that is when they are not busy getting cut piece by piece. Yeah, its disturbing, even more so when everything is left to our imagination.

I like A Walk Among The Tombstones. I loved the cinematography even more. The shots of Neeson walking places, investigating, give a great feeling in the ominous atmosphere. Not to forget that creepy van and creepier mofos. Loved that slow motion scene of that 'young target walking by'. Shocking how 'smoothly' they managed to grab her from inside her house. Also liked Neeson's haircut in the beginning ... and yeah, the punchy gun sounds.

Its a good thriller. But a clichéd ending didn't do it any good, yet was satisfactory and badly needed. Afterall, Neeson had to be declared a bad-ass. The 'mystery' is still there, but its mostly infront of us. 7/10 Hm, not bad.

Legends Of the Fall.

Watched it Second time and believe me people, it gave me the same taste, involvemet, excitment and emotions that it did on first watch. story of 3 brothers and a father about there internal life, there likeness, differences. A lot of drama and emotions involve in this movie. i must say Bratt Pitt at his best. he is stylish greatly perform and more significantly his involvement in the movie more than others. it is one amazing movie tha you cannot forget and it lies in your mind for long time

There are so many Incredible moments in this movie some are too good to see and emotional at the top of it. but i can only tell the 2 of them::
1. When Brat Pitt came back from long hunting Period with many horses with jim. that was smpley amazing, seriously that moment was really legendary and wins the day.
2. In the End when elder son save his brother and father by kkilling GUNMAN from behind.

Excellent Movie .......9/10
@opethian if you hadn't watched it already then i would recommend you this. Must watch.

^The ending was cheesy but LotF was indeed a fine movie.

I just finished watching 'This is the End'. Load of rubbish. I might've enjoyed the crude jokes under effect of drugs. But I was sober and sat poker-faced throughout. The movie was all over the place and I'm sure Rogen and co. came up with stuff as they went along.

There should be more movies like 'Horrible Bosses' because that is comedy done right.

What if you are told that most of the scenes are totally improvised, and not following any script. The script is only following the main storyline, and it ends just there.

Its fine if you don't like it, no harm done. But they do get points for playing all that, by themselves.

Is it just me or James Franco did alot of over-acting in The Interview? Movie was hilarious though no doubt about that.
Except the guy playing Kim n that tiger name me one character who was not overacting. Anyway the Sony hack just brought into limelight otherwise I would have skipped Seth work, if I wana laugh I'll watch some standup comedy.
Plz Franco, u ruined ur repute as someone who can act, I was ur fan after 127hrs but u lack "comedian expressions", cracking some s**** jokes with lots of overacting, anyone can do that.
Man I miss Blue Streak n those gud ol days of real cinema.

I gathered as much from watching the film. Which is why I said it was all over the place. Movies like these aren't my cup of tea.

WE'RE THE MILLERS (2013)

"Black Cock Down"

Oh wow. I had the laugh of my life watching The Millers do dumb sh*t. Formulatic material, simple plot, but absolutely sublime casting with amazing chemistry between all of them. 'Boner garage', 'Plane praying', 'Whoa. I think snoop dogg would fuck this fridge', 'David! Suck his dick’, 'Whisper Fight', 'Ear f*ck in the tent', 'Stripper dance', 'Wet Genitalia', 'No Ragrets', 'White nerd testicle fail' ... Sassy in-your-face disgusting jokes, discreet "R" Rated stuff; this was EXTREMELY FUN to watch.

Game face. Miller time. 'Lets stick to the big A; "ANAL"' Such a consistent execution. Between all the brief moments of The Millers fighting, smuggling marijuana, a little is given to emotional stuff, which is lovable, btw. Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis, haven't lost their spark. 'Sharing romantic stories in RV', 'David having a moment with Rose', very cute. Plus, wonderful characters, revealed at a beautiful time. 'Sarah' is revealed Much later in the movie, which brings that much needed 'touching' feeling. Jennifer Aniston still knows how to be HOT!!

The Fitzgerald Family, Nick Offerman and Kathryn Hahn. They need no intro. Watch out for their 'We-haven’t-done-like-this-with-another-couple'. IN YOUR FACE B*TCHES. Casey (Emma Roberts) and that kid Kenny (Will Poulter) should win a freaking medal for being spontaneous. You could laugh just by looking at them. Their 'Kissing lessons' had me totally. 'Too much tongue' lol. Emma Roberts! ... i have a crush on you.
Scottie P.: "How do you make Cassey so hot?".
David: "Doggy style!"

I feel bad for delaying We're The Millers for so long, or it would have been one of THE BEST movie of 2013 for me; STILL IS. Yes it mellows down a little at the end (clichéd dialogues and situation; 'stand-off in the carnival'), but that wasn't the point of it. I still loved the way it ended. Don't forget the pre-credits outtakes. 'We're not that good of an actor, though'. *Looks at the camera* :D FAKE FAMILY. BUT REAL FUN. 8/10 FREAKIN' LOVED IT. Kids! Keep Away. Bad Influence. Ya'know what I mean? -_-

THE MONUMENTS MEN (2014)

Unusual. I find it fascinating that this film tries to touch a compelling subject such as "Art", in the disturbing time of War. For the first time, we see them fighting for culture, for preserve their way of life. I also love how it keeps the other aspects of the war, killings, deaths, chaos, to bare minimum and keeps itself in its own world ... The world of Art, but doesn't forget to remind us that 'No piece of art is worth a man’s life'.

Its clear that The Monuments Men has admirable intentions, and the passion of Clooney, both as a director and actor, is obvious. Showing of real pictures, to inject the sense that it was all ‘actually‘ based on a true story, worked pretty good. And to ensure its effectiveness, he assembles some high-value faces such as John Goodman, Matt Damon, Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett etc. And they work pretty good, as far as the 'comedic' aspect is concerned.

Other times, well ... its difficult to say this, but it was indeed boring. Don't get me wrong. Soundtracks were touching, and cinematography absolutely brilliant; I can only imagine the work and effort they put through to recreate those war places, buildings from inside out, beach, paintings or other pieces of art. "Characters" are the bigger problem. Their speeches had value, they lacked the narrative weight. Accent of Cate Blanchett was definitely an appealing touch, but she remains a side-kick mostly.

A handful of scenes which made me smile are 'Sniper kid', 'Landmind scene', 'arrest of Rothschild'. 'Attack on Jean Claude' was the best of the lot, what a beautifully shot scene. Also, Hitler's scenes ... worth a clap. No audio, visuals and soundtrack say it all. Nicely done. So, 'was it worth it?'. Pretty much. 6/10. I actually like it, for my own reasons. Its not often we get to see such unusual material. Clooney should keep it up with his passion.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
