Sony has its own customizations and in some cases alternatives to certain DX12 features, such as the Geometry Engine instead of Mesh shaders. The PS5 hardware may not support instructions of certain integer types, which would put it behind the Xbox w.r.t. Machine Learning. Remains to be seen until Sony provides more details.
