WARNING:extreme noob question, but, is the LT+(the new one) required just to play online or will the new games like black ops and the new hot pursuit not work on the older firmware!?

Some games require LT+ to run.....And probably LT+ is much safer online....So if you want to play online to update it...

His name is tanveer, don't remember shop name but located next to funcoland, azan plaza, commercial market. but the thing is hez just offering lt+ flashing but don't have ac b patched game to run on it. according to him and another fellow i found claim to flash lt+ " Hum LT+ kardenge but market mein abhi koi patched game nahi hai check krne ke liye". i burn my own games but i'm out of melodies now....confused plz if someone updated to lt+ in rwp or isb, kindly share experience....thanx

Nah.... Only method yet is to spoof the drive (trick the 360 into trusting an older, hacked drive) - not recommended. C4E, the creator of LT+ has already said that the firmware shud come b4 Christmas. So chill until then

Guys have 2 xbox 360's one 120 GB elite Jasper version with liteon drive and old 360 Falcon with Hitachi drive...both have been soft modded successfully and running both AC-B as well as NFS-HP...

for all the xbox 360 owners with Hitachi drives....

good news... no need to change drives and spend Rs. 2000/- + to change FW to LT+, to be able to play Brother Hood or NFS-Hot Pursuit...

This is tried and tested on my own Xbox 360... reading threads i came to the understanding that Hitachi drives don't support AP 2.5 checks, so i updated my dashboard using the Assassins Creed Brother hood game thinking i would be able to play it... as soon as it got upgraded i got the disk read error..thinking that i f ed my console...i did some more reading and found a way to make this all work...

unzip to usb flash drive ,put it in your 360 & power on.
It seems that the update on ac-b disk is not full,once you have installed the one from memory stick skip the tutorial & try your assassins creed disk again.

Vollah.. now it works...

Plug your USB flash drive into a USB port on your computer.

1. Download the linked file.
2. Click Save to save the console update .zip file on your computer.
3. unzip the files directly on to a flash drive formated FAT32.
4. Unplug the USB flash drive from your computer.
5. Plug the flash drive into a USB port on your Xbox 360 console.
6. Restart the console.
7. When the console restarts, the installation program starts automatically. Select Yes when you are prompted to update the new console software

Just go to Ps Club to jimmy , i had my done from there for 1500rs and its running smooth as ever
and i love AC Brotherhood
and NFS Hot Pursuit is unbelievable

Almost means anything from 1-2 week. It'll finish first, and then it'll be put into testing, and if still does not test properly, then amends will be made, which might take another 3-5 days. So as he said before, expect it at the side of Christmas, = 15-20 December.
