How it works:
x360key consists of 2 parts, a motherboard and a remote.
The motherboard connects to the SATA bus inside the Xbox 360, and sits between the drive and the Xbox 360 motherboard. x360key is a full-fledged computer system running embedded Linux. It is capable of many things such as
- Emulating the Xbox 360 DVD drive
- Reading USB hard drives and other USB media with various file systems
- Updating itself and other hardware from USB media
- Communicating with the remote and other external USB devices
- And a lot more! (embedded Web server and Wifi connectivity for exampe)
The remote is a simple yet stylish piece of hardware that features an OLED display and 3 buttons. It connects to the x360key motherboard via a high speed USB2 connection. It also has USB for connecting USB hard drives and other devices. The OLED and buttons are used to control various aspects of x360key. It is also used for browsing attached USB media devices and launching games.

Also, before you all start saying that this maybe fake...This is quite real. Its being worked upon by the WODE guys, so its some nice stuff. It basically works on the original DVD EMU theory, so if worked upon, this could turn into something even bigger. But remember, as far as the current information goes, this can't be 100% live safe.....

if it solves the xbox live prob then its far better and superior compared to JTAG

This will never be better than Jtag, because no matter what you do, since you don't have complete control over the Xbox360 as in Jtag, M$ can try and block this.

indeed if that's the case.... though i'm a bit skeptical. what we have to keep in mind is that this ain't homebrew stuff so there is a raised probability that microsoft might render this method useless in future dashboard update.

as this stuff gets concrete i might ponder selling my jtag (lol not really!). though at an uncertainity that i might be left with nothing in the end!
(it still won't be beating jtag's ability to play region locked games, free dlcs and game modding etc aka homebrew goodies)

Yup. Jtags the best option for offline single playee even for co op or controlled multiplayer on xlink
I think this device is too good to be true though
