So i have a question. I installed Windows 8 successfully on my brother's Laptop. Almost all of the drivers are working perfectly fine. There is only one problem though. He has hybrid graphics and i am unable to install the hybrid graphics driver of Windows 7. Even though both graphics drivers are installed (Intel HD 3000 and HD 7470M), i cannot switch between different graphics card due to this problem

If anyone can help me here, i will appreciate it

Ok guys, thanks for the help. I successfully installed Windows 8 on my Desktop PC and my brothers laptop. It is working perfectly fine and i am very happy with it's performance and appearance despite some minor qualms(Why Microsoft Account everywhere :fp2. I got the hybrid graphics issue solved by downloading the latest drivers from the vendor. Almsot all drivers were installed autmatically and some of them got installed through windows update.

I have also managed to easily activate it using KMS activator on both systems and it is working fine since i can use Store + Updates and i don't see any sort of watermark. I can also customize the appearance and stuff. I don't understand why you guys had trouble with activation. It is a simple click process and even if requires internet access, i don't see any harm in it.

Overall, this is really a nice windows. The improvements are neat. Now i will IA install in my own laptop as well.

Even if it is for 180 days. It is good enough. 180 days = approx 6 months and by that time a decent crack will be already out.

I was thinking that another crack requires your windows to be cleaned of others. i.e. no other crack should be installed at the time of new. Thats why I am reluctant to try it at the moment

I'll probably will be skipping an install on my laptop for now. Will definitely pick up a Surface Pro, once it 'surfaces'. Though one can go for a dual monitor setup, with a touch ready monitor for the Metro/Modern UI alongside the old school W8 desktop.

I used K.J crack (available on IPT) since I couldn't find a working KMS activator.

Well, they're not technically cracks, they're activators. I think they activate Windows for 180 days, then at the end, you activate it again. As in, they're not proper cracks like the ones we have for XP, 7 etc.
