Windows 7 activation??

I just did a fresh install of windows 7 because my previous windows 7 copy was ruined by MS's crack update which i had accidently downloaded..

So can someone please tell me which software i should use to activate my windows now? Its a fresh install. Should i just run RemoveWAT and that will be it? Will that be enough to activate my windows and let me download the updates and everything?

Fist of all ... You should've downloaded/installed the OEM version of windows to become hassle free of activation.

Anyway...
Dont use RemoveWAT. It SHOULD be used as a Last Resort. Use the Win7 Loader by DAZ!, you can easily find it on Release Log. The latest version is 1.8.

After doing that ... do some changes to Windows' Updates.
Open Windows' Updates .. either by going to Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Update OR just Start Menu > Type "Update" & Select Windows UPdates.
On the left side of the newly opened screen, Press Change Settings, the 3rd Option from the top.
Now change Important Updates to Check for updates but let me choose whether to install them.
Uncheck ... Give me Recommended Updates the Same way i receive Important Updates.

By doing this, the next time any "Recommended" update is available, it will be appeared Unchecked Automatically. You will have to Mark it by yourself before installing it. Ofcourse you will have to review the update briefly before installing it

Ill download the OEM version and reinstall windows again. I dont wanna install everything and then have problems again and then reinstall windows again.. might as well do it now when there isnt many softwares installed

I used the crack to activate my windows.. then under my computer properties it said that windows was activated. I went to Microsoft's website and tried the validation on their website and over there it said validation failed? and now when i check under my computer properties, It says i must activate today ? :S

the fastest and the best solution is that download the latest WATremover crack and remove the WAT after this u will never face any prblem. i had also used WATremover to came out of this prblm. i recommen this.

does the OEM version... like DELL OEM pre-activated version get validated from MS site?? if not any trick of doing that.....

right click on computer and select propities here u can windows is activated

just not be victim of auto update

<_<yar i use "remove WAT" software when ever i install window 7...it should nt give u any problems, not even with the updates

And i used it in the computer shop where i work,i have received no complaints...

i installed a preactivated ver and hv been updating windows constantly wthout any prob.......so it depends upon which cracked ver u downloaded

I installed Windows 7 Ultimate last night using an OEM CD and no CD key. I then fully updated it, even installing kb971033 and then used RemoveWAT v2.2.5.2 by Hazar to activate windows. Everything worked out beautifully. My windows is currently activated and fully updated.
