When did you learn to drive?

I started driving when I was 15. Got myself registered in a driving school for 2 weeks and forgot everything since I hadn't driven in the next 5 months. -,-

Then started practicing again once my Santro got its engine adjusted and now I drive almost daily.


P.S still a year and a half to go before I can get my license.

I started learning in class 3 at the age of 9 when i could hardly reach the pedals and still drive to this day

It was like when I sit in the driving seat for the first time, I knew everything. Not to mention that it's been 12 years of driving and Alhumdulillah I never hit anyone.

When I was 8 I used to sit on my dads lap while he was driving and control the steering by myself. After 2 years I started driving on my own and i used to see road through the steering

BTW i have heard somewhere that a person cannot ever forget how to drive a car or ride a motorcycle even after his brain wash......

I learnt to drive manual transmission in december 2012. At first, the car used to shake and bump and made me feel that I'd just have to get an automatic but Allah-ka-shukar I eventually understood the clutch/accelerator timings and how much to press. Also, thanks to the guys at Pakwheels who gave few neat tips.

You heard that right. Once you understand the point where the engine meets the transmission, you wont forget it

i would say most of the times youngsters try to learn driving really fast really like plan high

when they are mostly in demand to impress the Women Department

i have never tried to get in touch with cars and driving

personally admire Luxurious Cars

I am Seventeen and still have not learned it completely. I am a natural disaster at driving. I rammed my uncle's XLi right up a mehran's back. I also drove my another uncle's old civic into his garden and I ruined many plantations in it.

And I was also once driving on a double road and I realized I was on the wrong side. Probably the most embarrassing
moment of my life.

Grade 3. I was about 9. Now I'm 15 and I have learnt fully. Never had an accident. I used to keep cushions on the seat

22 I think. Didn't have a car before that. Learnt myself. Now I avoid driving as much as I can (4 months of 3 hour drives a day on paki roads with retarded drivers will do that to you).
