Watch Dogs: Legion will let you play as a robotic beekeeper and Aiden Pearce
Watch Dogs Legion is set for an Oct. 29 release
Ubisoft shared new details on
Watch Dogs: Legion Thursday during its
Ubisoft Forward event. The publisher debuted a new gameplay trailer, offering a detailed look at all the different people you can hack and recruit in the open-world game.
The footage showed some of the people you can play as, including a street artist that shoots non-lethal paint balls and a beekeeper that — you guessed it — controls robot bees.
Following the trailer, Ubisoft revealed that Aiden Pearce, the original
Watch Dogs protagonist, will join the game as a fully playable character. Apparently, some people asked for him — but we aren’t sure who. (Pearce will be added as “post-launch content,” when he’ll have his own “dedicated story arc.”)
Watch Dogs: Legion was originally slated for a March 3 launch, but the game was
delayed last year to “increase development time.”
Watch Dogs: Legion will be released Oct. 29 on Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One. It’ll come to
Xbox Series X on Nov. 10 when that console is released. It’s coming to PlayStation 5, too — but Sony has not announced when its console is coming.
