because dreamcast was already dying when it was lauched. sega didnt have enough money to buy a sandwich for lunch let alone maintain a console.

thats the thing isnt it, the dreamcast WAS the early console of the sixth generation, the ps2 was the later second console, this just shows that early consoles DONT necesserily get away with everything even if they have better games.

ps2 was the first console , dreamcast launched when ps1-n64 gen was in full swing and died shrotly after the ps2-xbox-gcn gen started.
if sega had the finances then dreamcast would have been a great success (and maybe we would have had a good 3d sonic game), it had some awesome games.
